Our go to place for two nights maybe a third if we found it sooner. Good prices for the old city. Other options are Jacob pizza and the falafel place directly across from Jacobs. All these places on same street.

I visited this place twice during my trip. It's a perfect place to have a good lunch that doesn't break the bank. It's just off Jaffa gate.

Very little and simple restaurant in the old city. Is open also on saturday. The food is great and the portions are big. Cheap and good. Not alcoholic beverage.

This is a great find, all the delicious basics you'd expect and a place to rest your feet in the old City. We visited twice, enjoying hummus, falafel, chicken and shakshuka with fresh lemon and mint drinks and plenty of pita. Cheap, easy, done.
There's more seating upstairs if it looks full at first glance too.
