“great humous”
Reviewed 22 February 2014

Great small place inside the "machne yeuda" market. Droped in for a quick afternoon meal.
The atmosphere is good, the humous (mashed chickpeas) is great and served with tasty whole grain pita bread. The patties were also very good. The prices are very fair and service was good.
well worth a quick stop while touring the market.

“Original, delicious vegetarian fare”
Reviewed 18 November 2013

This is a tiny restaurant in the middle of Machne-Yehuda market, in a quaint, historical building, which housed the Banai family, who are major celebrities in Israel. The restaurant is modest, but the food is delicious and original. The waitress was friendly and took very good care of us. The price is also pretty cheap.
It was a great lunch, and afterwards we spent a few hours strolling around the market, buying fruits, veggies, cheeses and such.

“Super delicious vegetarian food”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

We had a lovely long meal here (long because we kept ordering more food), and enjoyed the amazing food, its presentation, the seating outside where we could chat and people watch, and did I mention the food? Wow. The best tachina ever, yummy lentil patties, great salads, etc. The service was also excellent and the price was right. A fun evening out before shopping for Friday night.

“Best veggie/vegan”
Reviewed 25 July 2013

A small, quaint place in the middle of the hip yet practical Machne-yehuda market (shuk) so make a half-day tour of it. The Humous is a must. They also have a selection of fresh salads (huge portions...take one for two!), vegan pies, soup of the day (if you happen to be there when they have the sun-choke/artichoke soup - take it!) lentil or quinoa balls, and more. The only two small downsides - towards the evening they run out of many things... (so go for brunch/lunch/late lunch) and the service, while very kind, helpful and flexible (with the menu) is sometimes annoyingly amateurish. Good, tasty, generous and healthy, what else could you ask for? Oh, value for money - Yes. Could be up to 50 nis (or less) for an entire meal, including a brewed tea (again, generous so share) or fresh juice.

“samll place, good food, unique location”
Reviewed 16 December 2012

it is a small place, so dont go with big group. food is very good, should try the beverage too. as it is in the Machane Yehuda markets, i believe it is closing afternoon. also, it is not easy accessable - you to walk into the market.
