“Intersting sights and discoverys”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

I was fascinated by these tunnels an it brings you to the closest point of the rock under the dome of the rock. This is a very religious sight and the tunnels are very small but there is alot to see and discover so do it, the history will astound you. Well worth the tour and take a moment to pray at the place closest to the rock. It will revive your soul.Wear confortable closed shoes, some parts slippery. Some very tight tunnels and space .

“Who Knew so much was going on under the Western Wall?”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Who knew so much was going on under the Kotel, the Western Wall? An architectural wonder, the tunnels feel like cool caves where you can see ancient passage ways and walk underground to a place opposite the Temple Mount. Very Interesting!

“a new experience”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

I had not been to Jerusalem for several years so the tunnel experience was new to me. Learned a lot from it but doubt that I would return for a second visit.

“Wow!!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

You have to get reservations for this experience. We did it a night and it was awesome. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job unfolding the story of the building of the temple, it's destruction and the meaning of the Wall to the Jewish people. We stood just a few feet where the Ark of the Covenant rested. Seeing the outside wall at night in lights was beautiful. A must experience.

“The Western Wall Tunnels”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

This underground excavation is wonderful for it shows the true height and depth of the walls that protected the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

Well lit and comfortable to walk, the tunnel tours are given in many different languages.

At one point, you will stand before a huge rock that is believed to be the closest point to what was the Holy of Holies of the Temple.

The tour guides are most impressive in the depth of their knowledge. We have taken tours in Hebrew, English, and French and all were excellent.

There is a miniature model as part of the exhibit as well.

Advance reservations are required, and can be done on line. Be sure to check your language preference. There is a cost, but it is incredibly modest. Be on time, for they start the tour on time!
