Enjoyed a great day with Yoni as a our guide for a bike ride through the Judean Hills and Beit Guvrin National Park. Group was myself, wife, and 19 year old son. Yoni was a lot of fun on the ride, and had great insights during the tour of caves at Beit Guvrin. Working with Jo in advance of the trip was easy. Our day with Yoni was one of the highlights of our trip.

My wife and I spent a full day cycling in the Judean Hills with Asaf of Gordon Active tours. It was wonderful! Asaf was very knowledgeable, kind, interesting and pleasant. The scenery was wonderful, particularly the climb in the British Park, and the view of the Ella Valley (where David and Goliath fought it out) from the top. It was a moderately challenging ride with lots of hills, so make sure you are in reasonable shape before you undertake a full day. The bikes themselves were new and very high quality Specialized road bikes. One caution is that it was very hot, even though it was only May (I'd be cautious trying to do this ride in the middle of the summer). The stop at the Agur winery was interesting, and the wines were very good, but the winemaker who sat with us couldn't stop talking and we thought it was a bit much. At the end of the ride, back at the bike center, there is a little gallery with some wonderful Kakadu and wonderful air conditioning; we took advantage of both. All in all it was a great day and we would recommend it highly!

We were on a trip with our 19-year old nephew and wanted to plan a day in the Judean Hills. From the start, Jo at Gordon Active was most helpful in making our arrangements. We wanted to include cycling, sightseeing and wine tasting and they made it happen. Ofer was our guide and he was absolutely terrific! He had an awesome day planned for us - he was extremely knowledgeable about the area. Had a great visit to Bet Guvrin, which is definitely worth touring. Then we had a great ride in the Judean Hills. Ofer was a great bike leader / tour guide, and always concerned for our safety and enjoyment. Then, the day finished off at a lovely, boutique winery - Tzora. This was the highlight of the day and one of our best days in Israel.

I was on a family/friend tour of Israel (two adult sons and two fathers). We had an amazing full day bike tour of the Judean Hills. Our guide Ofer was great. He was patient and knowledgeable about the history of the area we were riding in and also was willing to help adapt the trip to whatever level of biking we were comfortable with. In the end, we biked about 30km, but Ofer made it clear that we could have done significantly more or less depending on our comfort level (and that we both could have taken more or less strenuous paths depending on our comfort level). The bike itself was beautiful on roads through the Judean Hills, and visiting Beit Guvrin with Ofer was incredibly special and interesting. We then visited the amazing boutique winery Tzafririm. This was one of the greatest days I had in Israel, it is not to be missed!

We were delighted with Gordon Active - their pre-trip help in preparing for our cycling was very good - patient and clear with very good details about options. When we arrived the cycle tour of Jerusalem was very interesting and gave a great idea of the layout of the city and the history - our guide was great - very knowledgeable and interesting. We then did a 2 day tour in the Judean hills - the bikes and equipment were top class - very new and in excellent condition and the B&B organised for us was delightful. Overall a very well organised company with good kit and very helpful and attentive staff. We would certainly use them again if we go back to Israel for a cycling trip. Joe & Angela Woods
