“Great stylish boutique Jerusalem hotel located in heart of city.”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

Arthur is a travelers dream, clean, stylish (colony art deco), centrally located with a nice and professional staff (Ayala, hotel manager, Hadar reception manager, Ori the chef). The chic rooms (Soho like) are clean, with perfect bathrooms, clean and soft sheets, good AC and flat screens, small refrigerators, white sheets, etc. The hotel is located in the heart of the city just a few blocks away from the Old City, Mahane Yehuda Market, Mamila, and Jaffa stop on the tram. You park your car and walk/taxi/tram it. The hotel has a family feel to it, the staff is very accommodating and helpful; we met the hotel manager's daughter who was working at the hotel during summer break. Breakfast is served until 10am and is a plentiful.

Room Tip: All rooms are great.

Stayed here for 4 nights in July 2013. The hotel is located centrally in the eating district in Jerusalem. We stayed in room 206 second floor overlooking the paved pedestrian area where there are lots of restaurants. It is a 10 minute walk to the old city. The rooms are new, clean, modern and feel very comfortable. The room is not large but because it was such a nice room that was not a problem at all. The bathroom was nice and new with a bath/shower, all very modern. There is a small fridge in the room and safe as well. There was a small usable balcony with two seats that was great as well. It is a busy area in the street but the door to the balcony is very soundproof when you close it and want to sleep. Air con is good when you want to cool down. The glass is also one way so you can leave the curtain open and still have privacy. Wifi was free, breakfast was brilliant. Reception staff were all really friendly and helpful, the cleaners deserve a big thanks as well for keeping the room really clean. This is one of the hotels I have enjoyed most that I have stayed in. No complaints or issues at all. It is in a mall area so when you arrive you will need to walk 200m with your bags to the hotel. Recommend you locate on map before you go so you know exactly where it is. Would definitely come back. Rates were good as well when booking direct on the non cancel no change option. 10/10. Thanks!

Having previously stayed at their sister hotel, The Harmony, this time, we stayed at The Arthur. This hotel is undoubtedly the best hotel in Jerusalem. I cant speak highly enough about it. There are just no weaknesses! The GM Ayala and Hotel Manager Hadar are both totally focussed on customer service and nothing is too much trouble. Any requests are done with a smile and a "can do" attitude. The location is really good, within walking distance of markets, Old City etc. The rooms are well sized, clean, new and the staff are all well trained and eager to please. The food is excellent and plentiful. All in all, a fantastic hotel.

A relaxed heaven , in the middle of the city full of charm and kindness

The room was large and very comfortable , extremly tidy and with a lovely view of the city , the team is very tentative and accomodeting
Breakfast was rich with options , the food that was served was fresh and well cooked , the variety was large , the coffee was great
We could have stayed much longer if we only had the time ..

Highly recommended by us

Room Tip: Simly ask for a proper room , the team is eager to assist

My travel agent suggested this hotel as it is brand new. We arrived with a little difficulty finding it as it is in a pedestrian only street. (Right off Ben Yehuda)We were able to park our car for free at their sister hotel the Harmony 3 minutes away. The greeting at the reception was warm and professional. We were given a room on the 3rd floor facing the street. The noise level during sleeping hours is no problem as everything closes down and there are no cars.
The room is small but well appointed. The decor is homey old fashioned Israel style. I find it nice as a change from the usual modern style. Bathroom is small but functional. The bed and linen are very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet is extensive and very fresh. This hotel is not cheap but if you like to be in the middle of the action 10 minutes or so walk from the Machane Yehuda market you will like it.

A very nice, good situated hotel in Jerusalem. The room was surprisingly small but nicely decorated and clean. You could tell they put a lot of effort into the details. Breakfast was very nice and this goes for the staff as well. Free wifi with ok speed. Deserves the high rating but not outstandingly good as I had expected.

My husband and I spent four nights at the Arthur Hotel, another little gem the Atlas chain has added to their collection of boutique hotels in Israel. You can't ask for a more central location, along the Ben Yehuda promenade, just steps away from Rehov Jaffa, in walking distance to just about everything--from the Old City to Mahane Yehuda. Their accommodations, breakfast, happy hour, and concierge desk are all top-notch. Again, we really appreciated their attention to detail--down to the dish of Turkish delight waiting at the front desk.

Room Tip: Our room came with a Juliet balcony overlooking Ben Yehuda Street -- while lovely, with all the cafe...
