Small boutique hotel in an area with a lot of shops, restaurants, night life. Close walk to the old city, main market, and to the light rail. We really thought it was fabulous and would definitely stay there again.

This small boutique hotel is only a year old, but it is impeccably run. You really can't beat the location. It is around the corner from Ben Yehuda street (Shopping and Nightlife), the light rail train, and about a 10 minute walk from both the Jaffa Gate of the Old City and the Machanae Yehuda Market. We stayed in a suite which featured a living room area with a couch and TV, balcony, and a king size bed. There was plenty of room for 2 people and we had a cool view of the city from the 7th floor. This hotel does not serve food but for breakfast you have many options including Rouladin Cafe, Sam's Bagels, and Waffle Bar. For a great dinner try Zuni (not kosher, but amazing!). The room was clean and well kept. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable, clean, and central hotel, this is the one.

Room Tip: Go for the Suite Rooms with balconies. You'll enjoy the option to sit outside.

I did like the style of this hotel. It is also centrally located near the Old Town. Nearby is several small "supermarkets", including one which is open 24/7. Parking is however a problem and the hotel refers to Hotel Jerusalem Gold's parking which costs a fortune.

The hotel was as mentioned nice. Modern but classy touch to the interior. TV with a good selection of channels, water boiler and a fridge.

On the downside was sloppy cleaning (they did however manage to take 20 shekels as "tip" and of course the money were never seen again despite complaining at the front desk) although the room wasn't dirty. The wi-fi didn't work in the room at all, there was no signal. In the hallway it worked but very slowly. Also, in the description on hotels.com bottled water was complimentary but of that we saw none.

All in all a nice hotel but improvements could be made.

Be glad I'm writing this review and not my car.
Stayed over with some friends. The hotel is centrally located but unfortunately, if you arrive by car there's hardly even a place to stop to drop off the bags, not to mention parking. None of that.

At check in they said they work with a specific parking lot but it was just too complicated to figure out. Wound up getting a mortgage for parking the car overnight somewhere else.

But the hotel is really nice. Tastefully done, clean, and very centrally located so it's a great jump off point for walking tours. Plenty of cafes across the street to get your morning caffeine fix.

Great value for money, even if you add the parking fees ;-)

Thank you for your detailed review. It is Throuh guest correspondence that we can truly understand how valued guests view their stay.

We are now working on a clearer parking-explanation for our guests use. Including a map.
Our central location has somtimes also its costs... But within a few days i hope it would get much easier to understand and handle.

We hope to host you soon again, at Hillel11 on your next visit to Jerusalem.

Best Regards,
Hadas

What a wonderful and quaint hotel in jerusalem. On Hillel street, with coffee shops and shopping with a one minute walk. Two blocks from Ben Yehuda Street, one of the nicest pedestrian malls in the world---great shopping and dining. The staff is great---special thanks to Zev and David for making our stay so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: ask for the jr. suite. the extra room is well worth just a bit more money vs. a standard room.

The hotel is in a great area. Rooms are funky and stylish. Overall the rooms were clean, however, a few things were missed. The mirrors had finger marks all over them. There had been coffee spilled down a wall that had not been cleaned. The side of the sink had grime on it. The service from reception Wa great and hotel is walking distance to the old city. Great position.
