We stayed at the Agripas for 10 days end of March. The best part thing about the hotel is the location which is walking distance of the shuk, Jaffo St, Old City and City Center and a super easy walk to the train. There is coffee in the lounge and free wifi. The bilingual desk staff was wonderful especially Adi who is a gem and was extremely warm and helpful. We don't like to travel with tour guides and groups so she helped us with excellent directions and recommendations. The room was cleaned promptly daily. Beds were a surprise to me as they were 2 twins side by side the size of a king - would prefer one large mattress to this but this has to do with local customs. Parking is limited so probably best not to bring a car. We did but we couldn't get a spot for a couple of days and managed to pick up a couple of parking tickets in the process. Good news is that you pay your parking tickets at the post office which is only a block away. Israeli breakfast was ok - better food to be had in the shuk tho. It's a very decent hotel in the heart of Jerusalem at a good price.

Room Tip: Pick the room with the normal bed. If you want a large room you need to upgrade

Stayed only one night here. It is in close proximity to Yahuda Market, walking distance to metropolitan downtown, the tram and the old city. The rooms are small, and as the breakfast is in another building we opted out and are in the market instead, much more exciting experience. The staff were pleasant, and to be fair helped us with all our questions and tried to find as much information as possible regarding the border crossing to Jordan. But expensive for what you get.

Was sent here after their sister hotel overbooked.
Fine for one night. But not upset to leave right after that.
They tried to be OK. But had no clue about real customer service.
(Seems to be a universal illness in Israel)
Style is on the tacky side.
Rooms are tiny, beds hard as a rock.
Location is prime. But, is that enough?
Maybe someday a good hotel will locate there. (ouch!)

If one would compare this hotel's prices with what other hotels in Jerusalem offer it is good value for money. This isn't really a boutique hotel though. It seems however that the rooms are either new or have recently been renovated. On the minus side: There is little storage space in the rooms and the bathrooms are not very functional. Double beds are small. Rooms facing the street are noisy (traffic) and one can also hear everything (!) what is happening in rooms/bathrooms next to your own. On the plus side: Rooms are very clean, very fast and free wifi is available, the hotel offers a limited number of free parking places (which is very rare in Israel) and the front desk staff are very helpful. The hotel is located right off the main pedestrian street (Jaffa Road), a stone's throw away from the fabulous Mahane Yehuda market and within walking distance to the Old Town. Breakfast is served in another hotel across the street and it is a bit below Israeli breakfast standards. No major issues though. The dining room is small and since the other hotel is popular with groups of tourists there can be a problem with getting a table for breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back street/parking and - if available - not between two occupied rooms. A...

I stayed there for a week in October. THe breakfast across the street was not that good. Go to a local place for great coffee and bagels. They say that the hotel will have a breakfast room in the future. The internet keep going down. There was multiple problems with the television. I did not have any English channels and when I complained they said they were working on it. The room was clean but they forgot to clean it one day, but came back to do it. The bar fridge was not working properly so they moved it to under the desk. The safe would not lock and the hotel provided me with a key. DO you think that was safe? I complained at the desk about the television and WIFI. The man told me to speak to Jennie. He got Jennie on the phone and she was so rude that she made me cry. They promised me a 10% discount. NOT.

Room Tip: My room was roomy, but the bathroom shower was tiny and there was not place to put my cosmetics.

The location of this hotel is what makes it excellent! You can walk to Jaffa gate in 15 minutes, the market in 2 minutes, to the shopping district in 5 minutes. The best part is that the hotel is kept clean and the price is excellent!

The breakfast was not the best, however, there is not to complain about if you get all of the things above for the very reasonable price.

I strongly recommend Agripas Boutique hotel.
