The La Pavee I visited did not correspond to nearly any of the reviews I saw here.
There was no view, no "all-you-can-eat" option, there were white tablecloths and quality china and the food and service were quite satisfactory.
Quiet, elegant and reserved. Prices and portions comparable to similar kosher French restaurants in Jerusalem but not yet one the top ones - but getting there. House chef Ran Atun and veteran grill chef is Avi Peretz(formally of Gabriel), obviously know their stuff.
Some limitations due to high kosher standards but definitely recommended to those required the strict Mahpoud certification.

Here you can sit and enjoy the view while you wait for your food which comes with an efficient service, so no time wasted for your exploring.

A couple of my friends and I went out for a nice night with an all you can eat twang. We called ahead to make sure we were getting all you can eat. They confirmed and so we came. The service began slowly, taking at least 35 minutes for our starters. When they finally came, they played the classic trick on us by bringing a lot of bread and water. That's fair game as far as I'm concerned. The issues began once our so called "ALL YOU CAN EAT" started to come out. We were surprised as the plate came out with a startling one piece of steak, a couple pieces of grilled chicken, some veggies and dry kabobs. We were not so upset as we expected the rest of the food to be coming and to enjoy our night. We were shocked when after three plates of similarly arranged food, the waiter told us that we were done. They demanded that we pay for our "all you can eat" and embarrassed us in front of the rest of the diners at the venue. All in all, a distasteful owner, terrible service, bad ambiance, small, uncomfortable tables, small bathrooms, the music was terrible and the food was average. I would not recommend this restaurant if it was the only option. Better to find a grocery store and eat stale baguette. I'd say I'm fed up with this place but I'm clearly not.

Angry Customer

Ps There was one waitress with a good attitude that was clearly scared of her boss.

We bought a coupon for an all you can eat,we came and got assurance from the waiter that it was realy all you can eat. Half way in the waiter stopped bringing food,we were still hungry so asked for more, they refused. When we asked for more they screamed at us, telling us its disrespectful to ask for more food because its costing them so much. And they are a gourmet restaurant so they dont need to give us food till we are satiated. so cheap im never coming back. good food but evil people!

The restaurant is a bit crowded. It present itself as a high class restaurant with the appropriate high prices. The food (in particular the meat) is delicious and correspond to high class expectations. Other things are lacking such as tablecloths, side dishes were small, no refills of your cup. With such prices, you would expect more attention to the details.
