Owner description: The most panoramic view of Jerusalem, together with the Judean Desert, this is the perfect place to end the #99 bus tour, especially at the twilight hour, when the light gives real meaning to the description "Jerusalem of Gold."

“A best view of Jerusalem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2013 via mobile

I could say it is the best view Jerusalem.
It is even better than the view of mount of Olives.
This place is quiet, I enjoyed the time walking in the park.
Such a nice Place to go.

“One of the best panoramas of Jerusalem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2013

When a couple in Jerusalem decides to get married, after all the arrangements have been made, ther remains only one last decision to make.
Where do we photograph the wedding pictures?
The first and almost obvious choice is the Haas Promenade. Overlooking the whole old city, The valley of Kidron, The city of David, The Sultans Pool, The Historical King David Hotel, The Montefiore Windmill, The Jerusalem Artist colony and more. On the other side of the old city we can clearly see Mount Scopus , The Mount of Olives, and on a clear day , even the dead sea. Take a stroll on one of the many paths with all kinds of plants , Flora, and trees. Maybe , You would just like to sit on on of the benches and enjoy the sun. If you keep on walking another few minutes you will get to :The Forest of Peace".
A great way to get away from it all and spend a lazy hour

“One of the best views of Jerusalem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2013

I went on a cold morning in February and just walked all along the paths. It's a lovely park set on the hill with little paths running all over it. there are spots that have benches to sit and just marvel at the view. You can walk and marvel for hours. You can drive up to the top and just look from there but we started almost at the bottom and walked all around. If you want a panoramic photo of Jerusalem I think that maybe this is one of the best spots.

“Breathtaking views over Jerusalem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2013

We visited this site on a cold day in February but the view never fails to thrill. There is ample parking and some little strolls around the promenade. It is easiest the best way to learn about Jerusalem and the history of Israel. A must for every one tourist and local . One minor area of complaint is that the maps need renewing as they are well worn.
