“Great views.”
Reviewed 28 December 2013

The 3US$ cost for getting to the top level of the YMCA tower are so worth it (a lot of stairs are involved, mind you...).
The view is breathtaking and is not obscured in any direction.
On clear days you can see as far as Jordan, some 40 kilometers to the east.
The view is most beautiful towards sunset, when parts of the city are beautifully colored in majestic oranges.

“YMCA Tower Jerusalem, Israel.”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

The YMCA Tower is an well known , important landmark of the Jerusalem skyline. From high up you admire the view of the old city and at street level you are exactly in front of the well known King David Hotel. It is the most famous of the YMCA Centers of the world . It has a small, modest hotel, restaurant and outside coffee shop. At the time of the Israel Independence era it was the only hotel in Jerusalem with an indoor pool. It is an interesting place to tour for historical value , symbolism, a non expensive hotel room room or a short rest to enjoy the Jerusalem air having a good cup of coffee or Thea.

“Well worth the climb!”
Reviewed 16 May 2013

For 10 NIS this climb is well worth it. You can either walk up all the stairs (6 flights) or get the lift. The views are 360 degrees over Jerusalem and stunning. Obviously it's recommended to go on a day with good visability- we had such clear skies we could see the mountains in Jordan in the distance! One flight below the deck you can see where all the bells are kept....before you make the descent back down!

When going up and looking form the top of the building you get to see a lot of Jerusalem but there is a new building that blocks the view
