What a lovely place to stay.
Our hostess and staff were all very welcoming and friendly, in addition very knowledgeable and helpful if you need tips and advice about travelling around the country (incl. car hire and maps).
The rooms are small but the beds have comfortable mattresses (I slept well) plus tv and wifi and there's lots of hot water. In addition there's a phone to call Israeli numbers free which makes it handy for calling the Nesher shared minibus service to get back to the airport.
Breakfasts are great and often with interesting company plus there's full cooking facilities and a big fridge if you want to do your own thing. There's also a pretty patio area surrounded by trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs to sit out in.
Very centrally situated, within walking distance to Yehane Mehuda Market and easy access to buses and trams. It's a downhill walk to the Old City but it's nice to take the tram on the way home especially if it's hot.
Shopping-wise there's a good supermarket just down the road (turn left) and the Shopping Centre on Yafo Street (turn right) has lots of good shops too.
This is a home-from-home that I'll definitely be coming back to on my next trip . . . nice to feel like part of the (extended) family.
Thank you All for a lovely stay.
PS Loved the Towel Art!

Will definitely come back here. Staff and management are warm, helpful and cheerful. Location is great for market, shops, and public transport. Breakfasts were lovely and fun thanks to the company of colourful other guests. All in all, a very nice stay.

This place can best be described as B&B. Rooms are basic and small. At breakfast time one can meet other tourists and friendly staff who can help with tour booking and other advice. It is also interesting to chat with everybody. It is a bit far from the old city, but the tram line is nearby, and also the central bus station.

This B&B is really more along the lines of an upscale hostel. It's in an older home on the edge of a very conservative neighborhood. The building is old and the rooms are very basic. However, if you don't need turn-down service it's a very comfortable place to spend a week. The breakfasts are good and there is usually a remarkably diverse group of people in the dining room/kitchen to share stories and tips with. The best part of staying at No. 2 is that it is directly across the street from Jerusalem's central bus station. You can go anywhere in the country by walking across the street and hopping on a bus. I went from Jerusalem to Masada, the Golan Heights, and Tel Aviv. Right across the street from the bus station is the metro stop. From here you can travel across the city from the old city to Yad Vasam. there is a wonderful cafeteria style restaurant in the bus depot and all the basic shopping you'd want.

Rooms are small but clean. The common area is open and often quiet I the evenings. It attracts an older, calmer crowd so it's a nice place to come to after a long day of traveling. In the mornings, guests were friendly and we all talked about an hour while enjoying the generous breakfast. The sooner was at breakfast and helped with all our questions about the city making many great suggestions that were unique and ended up being very memorable. I'd definitely stay again!
