I've stayed at the Eyal hotel in it's first days and I got the best deal in town! great value for money! it is a foot step away from Ben Yehuda with lots of shops restaurants and cafes near by and just 2 minutes from the tram station.

the staff were very nice and the hotel is very decorated, they gave me a free tablet to use their free wifi - worked great all over the building.

the Israeli breakfast is the best I had for years outside.

Room Tip: The rooms with the balconies are nicer and have a nice urban view

We are enjoying the second night of our 3 night stay here and like everything about this hotel. In fact, we are coming back to Jerusalem next week and have cancelled our reservations elsewhere and will stay here again. It's new so the rooms are perfect. Breakfast this morning was delicious and the buffet had a good variety. I highly recommend this hotel.

I got to the Eyal hotel after booking another hotel in their chain, they offered me free upgrade to this new property and ohh my... what can I say!! the location is the best ever ! Corner to Ben Yehuda pedestrian street ant steps from Zion square with free parking in the property! Just loved it! (The parking lot next door charge 35$ per day.) mini-market in front was very helpful to use.

Thy gave me a double room all tough I was alone, the room was beautiful and clean, I had a smart tv with super fast internet connection lots of tv channels and the wifi was great and free not like other hotels I've stayed at, the most important thing for me was the firm and excellent mattress and the strong water pressure in the bathroom.

They provided me coffee and tea maker to the room (didn't use it)

Breakfast with a huge selection of fruits salads cheese bred juice cereals fish cakes, the only thing I missed is an omelette, (which I didn't ask).

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Ozz.

The rooftop wasn't ready yet (they are opening soon sad the manager).

Another great thing is that guests staying at the Eyal hotel gets free access to the gym next door, (I think it's called city gym).

When I checked out they hanged a wallpaper at the lobby which didn't bother me, I guess they need a few more days to get everything finished,

I cannot wait to come back again and to stay at the smart hotels - Eyal again! Thank you guys.

We were actually booked at another hotel nearby but on arrival we were informed that they were overbooked and we were being sent to another hotel in their group, a new and nicer property. The staff carried our luggage for a five minute walk to the Eyal. It is so new that it doesn't have a sign. The Eyal was really nice! Our room was fairly small but included a refrigerator, desk and a closet with a safe. The "view" was a courtyard of other apartments and nothing to look at, but it was very quiet, especially with Zion Square on the other side of those buildings. The air conditioning worked well when we needed it. The bathroom was sleekly modern although the all glass shower enclosure had a tendency to leak unless VERY securely closed and even then a little water always escaped. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wonderful selection of cereals, breads and rolls, fruits, cheeses, smoked fish, grilled vegetables, hummus, salads, several hot items such as potatoes, eggs and blitzes, desserts and beverages. A lot of selections changed every day, so boredom was not a problem. It was a kosher spread, so no meat. The location was fantastic. It is around the corner from Zion Square where there are a huge number of restaurants and markets on an intersection of major pedestrian malls with a light rail stop only a block away. It was less than ten minutes walk to the Old City New Gate and a few minutes farther to the Jaffa Gate.

The place is new and there are still a few bugs to shake out. Construction is not complete so some vents weren't attached in places and one morning the staff had to work around a pipe leak in the dining room. The elevator is quick but often has a mind of its own about whether it will stop and whether the UP button call light is cancelled when an elevator goes down past the floor where you are waiting. A couple of times our room keys needed to be reset when we got back after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and was pretty quick to correct glitches. Right now I don't think it shows up on search engines and always seems to show "no available rooms" but then it had a lot of tour groups, so maybe it is tough to book but I hope they get their business act together. Come to think of it, other hotels in the chain needed to be booked by email, which is how we got our room at their other property in the first place.

Room Tip: quieter rooms are probably on the courtyard, but the window was good at cutting noise anyhow.
