Very good and new hotel in a 10 minutes walking distance from the Old City.
Riiich and tasty breakfast, a very fast and friendly service and staff; they just tend to show up a bit early for the room cleaning.
Extremely good beds and a huge bathroom made our stay very comfortable - great after a long day in hot June.
We will definitely come back.

We stay at Eyal hotel over night. The location was very good, right on Ben Yehuda walkway, and about 15 nim' walk from the old city. The hotel is new, the room was very clean. Although the room was facing to the walkway it was quite when the windows were close. The breakfast was good and variety.

I was very lucky to find the Eyal Hotel on a recent visit to Jerusalem. A 10-minute walk from the Jaffa Gate and a few minutes from a light-rail stop, the location was near interesting streets, shops and restaurants. The staff was incredibly helpful, very professional and friendly. The stylishly appointed rooms were nicely arranged and very comfortable, with good, firm beds. Breakfast offered wide and tasty choices. And the price was a true bargain. I will certainly recommend it and won't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

Room Tip: Our rooms overlooked Shamai Street, and we did not find that to be a problem at all.

The hotel is very new and service is very friendly. The rooms are too small for a four star hotel but the room arrangement is well done and you won't fell claustrophobic.
The dark colours are somewhat depressing but that is a question of taste. Prices are decent (for Jerusalem that became very expensive lately) and probably highly negotiable (we paid the price offered by a hotel booking service and our neighbours paid 20% less at another service). The area is quiet only during weekends but the windows do a good job isolating you from the street noise.
The doors are not well isolated and noisy neighbours arriving late can ruin your night. Jerusalem is becoming more religious by the day and the area has few restaurants open during the weekend - but you can find some. Breakfast is as good as in any of the good Jerusalem hotels and the breakfast room is pleasant, clean and the service is highly friendly.
The hotel is not clearly marked as non-smoking (although the lack of ashtrays is good enough sign) but we felt the cigarette smoke in the corridors and through the air condition vents. I would expect the hotel to fix that.
We gave up a very good hotel room to check this newcomer and it was a good value room. I hope they keep it this way for our next visit (or even make it better).
