Clean rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. Nice breakfast buffet, good selection (but get in early before the coach parties occupy every table). Nice bar in lobby with free wifi, you have to purchase if you want internet in room. Has rooftop terrace but this was closed when I stayed there. Location is good, short walk into city center and down the hill to the old station where there are many good restaurants.

Thank you for posting your kind words about our hotel.

One of the nicest things for a hotel to hear is that guests enjoy their stay, our service, and hotel facilities.

Plush and relaxing, this hotel had a bonus -- the rooftop terrace. At night, we could go up to the rooftop and see Jerusalem glowing in lights. It was dazzling. With a guidebook, we were able to identify some of the buildings, like the distinctive King David YMCA. The hotel had nice extras like luxurious white bathrobes and slippers. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets; the food was plentiful and included lots of fresh fruit. (Persimmons - yum!) Musicians in the lounge at night were good. They were kind to let our tour group sing along and dance with them. I had forgotten my toothbrush and the front desk nicely gave me one and a small tube of toothpaste for free. I will long remember my Jerusalem pilgrimage and the comfort of Prima Royal Hotel.

Overall the hotel felt worn and overcrowded.
Our room was small, shabby in feel. (In fact one of our closet shelves collapsed as soon as we deposited some things on it.)
To add insult to injury, we were greatly inconvenienced when the hotel told us they had overbooked and needed to retract one of our days. (We had already fully made and paid for our reservation)
We were moved mid-stay to their sister hotel the Prima Kings…..no improvement.

Not recommended.

Lets start with the room. It was clean with a tv, coffee maker and hair dryer. There is a safe in the closet and a mini fridge which was empty. Perfect for holding out drinks and goodies. The shower worked well too. We had lots of questions and Elad was at the front desk. He is so helpful. He had answers for any question we asked him. If you need help or need to know anything ask Elad. I think with Elads help, it made out vacation that much more enjoyable. The hotel management should really take notice how good Elad is. If the rest of our trip has people like that around we should have an amazing time.

Room Tip: There is no bad room. The street is not busy and theres no big band playing downstairs late.

We stayed three nights with a group. The deluxe room was rather small but clean. The duvet was too small for two standard adults. The tub had a problem (promptly fixed) and the towels had a smell. Breakfast buffet (in a nice sunny room) was ok but for some reason they kept running out of cutlery and dishes all the time. Dinner buffet is in the basement. For some reason the reception staff (who never smiles) seemed overwhelmed by our request to cancel the wake up call, set too early by the guide. We kept making the same request for three days and they kept waking us up every day... For some reason, not all taxis know where the hotel is,(residential neighbourhood where you need a car). In a city where you find (free) wifi everywhere, for some reason, the (free) wifi available in the lobby requires an endless procedure of passwords, general conditions, more passwords, etc, only to find out that it cannot handle more than a few users at the same time.

Good location in a quiet street, just 15 minutes stroll from The Old City. Rooms smallish but quite adequate.. Gift of chocs in room. Staff pleasant & helpful. Go to breakfast early before coach party's overwhelm waiting staff. Free parking is a bonus. Décor a little tired, but we would certainly use this hotel again.
