Hotel Prima Royale
Ranked #25 of 101 Hotels in Jerusalem

Location is fine. Close to old and new city.
Room is ok. Kettle for coffee or tea.
Breakfast for italian taste is poor: not enough choise for sweets .
The bar at lobby close early and if you want to drink something when you're back from dinner, there is no choise neither nearby the hotel.
Pay attention if they propose you a taxi service to Bethlehem with the excuse of safety reason because at the end it is like the other guided tour: stop on his friend's shop (more expensive than the others in Manger square), fast visit of nativity church and not enough free time.

When we arrived at the hotel their was a notification saying that since it was passover they were KOSHER. The hotel SHOULD have warned us that they were totally into religious traditions so that we could have had the option to accept or not. We can respect everything but don't make us have to be part of traditions that don't belong to us. Since there was no restaurant open in the entire city, we had to eat a passover buffett at an exorbitant price of $75 each one!!!! Not even at the Jumeraih Hotel in Dubai, the only 7 star hotel in the world we have payed so much!!!The staff at the hotel was not at all friendly, they don't even smile or respond to your greetings.
Bad choice, be careful.

Nice hotel. Small but clean and neat rooms.
Located West of old city close to Jaffa Gate.
Food was very nice, even if we didn't get any bread due to passover...
I enjoyed the piano player during breakfast time very much !!

We stayed 5 nights at the Prima Royale, from Monday to Saturday morning. The accommodations were just right for us, and our needs. It was a fifteen minute walk to the Jaffa Gate and the Old City. This is a very clean hotel, with a great breakfast each morning that is included in the price. Every morning at 8am, a pianist would show up and play music during our breakfast. It was very nice!
The front desk was always helpful with directions, calling a cab or any other need that we had. We were scheduled to fly our of TelAviv on Saturday evening, and Yasmin at the front desk was very helpful to us in arranging a late check out for us. She was extremely cordial and willing to help us in any way that we might need. Each evening when we came back to the hotel, there was a cold drink of either orange or grapefruit available for us to enjoy. One evening there was a harpist playing soft music in the lobby. We found the hotel gift shop to have the best prices for souvenirs of any place that we shopped.
I would without hesitation stay at the Prima Royale again! It was not a five star hotel, but it was nice and clean with great customer service. For its price it is a great value and experience!

The Prima Royal is a very clean and very well serviced hotel right in the heart of Jerudalem.. Its is within walking distance to anywhere you want to be. We walked to The Old City, Mamilla Mall just outside the Old City. Ben Yehuda Street is just a few minutes walk. And there is a wonderful area called Emek Refaim that we walkde to almost every day. The reception staff at the Royale are always so friendly and ready to be of assistance and it makes your holiday so much nicer when they truly want to make their guests happy, they will arrange a guide or a taxi at a moments notice. I will definately stay at this hotel again.

The Prima Royale Hotel added to our total enjoyment of our Jerusalem trip. Service from the front desk was excellent as they went out of their way to assist us. The meals, especially breakfast were superb. I would recommend this hotel to any visitor who wants a helpful and quality hotel which will complement their time spent in Jerusalem.

Room Tip: may want a room on lower level to save time on elevator trip

Wonderful hotel manager. Very convenient place to stay for all of the attraction in the city & surrounding area. Staff was very professional and most helpful. Food was very good. We had a group of twenty eight and I did not hear one negative comment.
