“My kind of town”
Reviewed 18 November 2013

Squeezed between the sea, Carmel market and Allenby Street, Kerem is like a little town inside Tel-Aviv. It's calm and picturesque, its lanes are narrow, most of its buildings are small. Once the home of local Yemenite community, Kerem still boasts a number of traditional eateries serving home-made Yemenite food. But there are bars, cafes and fashionable bistros as well. If you want to take a relaxing walk and keep close to sea - go to Kerem, it won't disappoint you!

“An old neighborhood”
Reviewed 24 May 2013

This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Tel-Aviv - most of the houses are still at their original form of 100 years ago - there are a lot of local restaurants that serve Yemenite food

“Love it”
Reviewed 1 March 2013

Small little streets, lovely people, very nice small cafes with very tasty Yemen-soup (meat soup). Usually it's a family business.
