“Close to Airport”
Reviewed 14 April 2013

The hotel is part of a building that is attached to a Hospital. So you have to go through security gates to get to the entrance. The check in is easy and the staff were friendly. We stayed here on our first and last night in Israel. I left my PJ's on the back of our bathroom door when we check out and I had our tour guide call the hotel to see if anyone found them a few hours later. I am sad to say that no one turned my PJ's in when we returned to the hotel for the 2nd time to ask again about them.
Breakfast was simple and good. Free taxi to the airport was nice. The rooms were very expensive for what they offer.

Dear Kara,
Thank you for your review, we appreciate you taking the time to write it. We are happy to hear you were pleased with our staff, breakfast and convenient check in process. Regarding your pajamas we are looking into the matter and will be in touch with you shortly. We are happy to hear you appreciated our free taxi. While we do believe our hotel rates are very competitive we understand that when it comes to price everyone will have their own expectations and views therefore we respect your opinion. We would like to thank you for choosing to stay at the Sadot Hotel and we look forward to welcoming you back.

We stayed one night at the Sadot Hotel prior to leaving Israel. We found the staff pleasant and the bed very comfortable. The room had all the facilities one would want. The breakfast was excellent. The only downside was the selection of restaurants in the shopping mall. When we walked round it a lot of them were closed and there was not much variety. It was comparatively lifeless. This may have been due to the Passover holiday. Fortunately the generous Happy Hour had taken care of any needs we had. We appreciated the free taxi to the airport and the help given us with our luggage by the driver. This was in contrast to the expensive taxi to the hotel, and the surly taxi driver who just managed to lift our luggage onto the pavement and gave no help up to the hotel entrance.

Room Tip: If you have a west-facing room, as we did, you can watch the sunset.

March 2013. We stayed only one night. Close to the airport. We arrived very late at night and the check-in was quick. Nice clean room, excellent breakfast included. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and we will certainly go back on our next visit to israel.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. I stayed here the night before flying out of Tel Aviv (after a long trip). The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful; the lobby and room was very clean and modern; there was free Wi-Fi. They helped to arrange free transportation to the airport early the next morning and offered a free breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Very cozy and cute hotel on the 3rd floor of a shopping mall, which was off its working hours during our stay. Spacious clean rooms, fantastic breakfast included in price, free taxi ride to the airport (driver appeared 5 min in advance), nice and courteous front desk, free Wi-Fi in the room. What else did we need? I really liked it and will definitely stay again

This hotel is listed as the closest hotel to the airport. We used it as a stop-over in Tel Aviv for one night in March 2013 before catching an onward flight. I would highly recommend the hotel. We arrived very late at night and the check-in procedure was quick and efficient. There are tea/coffee facilities in the room. The bedrooms are a very good size with a separate 'lounge' area and the bathroom is also a good size with a walk-in shower cubicle. The hotel is spotlessly clean and there was a very good selection of food at breakfast. The hotel also offers a free taxi back to the airport. All the staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will certainly use it again.

We stayed at the Sadot Hotel for one night and were very disappointed. The room was fine and the wi-fi worked well. However, as it was the first night of Passover there was no "happy hour" and as we left at 4:30am for the airport there was no breakfast - not even a packed one - the only thing they could offer was one brownie each. I would have thought that such a hotel could have provided more for its international passengers who were not celebrating the holiday. This was the most expensive place we stayed in during our 3 week trip to Israel and the one with the poorest value for the money we paid.

Dear Susan,

Thank you for your honest feedback regarding your stay. Guest opinions are very important to us and we value every single one. We are happy to hear that you were pleased with your room and our free wifi. Regarding your disappointment concerning happy hour please note that during Shabbat (Friday, Saturday) along with the eve of a holiday and the holiday we never serve happy hour. Regarding breakfast we do give a packed breakfast to those who request it the day before. We apologize if we did not make this known to you and we thank you for bringing this to our attention as it is an important message we would like to give to all of our guests. We thank you for choosing to stay at the Sadot Hotel and we hope you decide to return so that you can experience all that the hotel has to offer.
