“Clean, affordable with good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

Excellent, clean, affordable, comfortable is all words that I want to describe my staying.
By mistake I left money on the table, which I find later after room service, still on the table.
The language are a bit of a barrier but they are very friendly.
The breakfast consist of Freshly baked breakfast breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juice, toast, assorted jams, veggies and fresh coffee or tea. All very clean and hygienic.
Walking distance from many restaurants, shops, water organ, sea, swimming, kids playing area and other on the port. Heat and humidity are a big problem for people not used to this, but the Air conditioner in every room was a big help. Great stay.

Room Tip: The rooms on the third floor are quieter from the traffic below.

Nice boutique hotel in good location - close to the port and the beach. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We left our phone charger and they kept it for us. The hotel is a very good value for money as for Tel Aviv tough the breakfast is rather poor so this is the only thing that needs improvement.

I find hotels in Tel Aviv are very expensive compared to cities in other counties. After much hunting online I settled on the Port Hotel. It's definitely good value for money compared to other options in TLV. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The location is both walking distance to many restaurants at the port and beach.

A friend and I travelled to Tel Aviv for a long weekend and found this small ish hotel an excellent facility. From our experience the staff were helpful and attentive, giving excellent advice when asked for local transport and places nearby.

The rooms are clean, the aircon works perfectly, modern TV's and tea/coffee making facilities are in the room. Tea/coffee (and biscuits) are available 24 hours in the downstairs breakfast area.

Free WiFi is available from everywhere in the hotel, rooms reception and on the roof which is a nice place to chill.

The location is not very central but very close to to the Marina, which has cafes, restaurants and shops. There are frequent buses to more central places, and the walk along the sea front is very pleasant.

Small point of note, the picture from outside shows the building adjacent under construction, it is now completed so the Tripadvisor picture could be updated.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor with no window view so maybe higher up would give some view. It made no...

I had the opportunity to stay at Port hotel,

The hotel has been complete refurbished, from lobby to rooms: hotel is clean, room comfortable, and not noisy.... Add the location which is perfect, close to the old harbor and walking distance to the sea shore, without missing the team who is polite and professional.
I would recommend definitely this hotel

I stayed here for a trade show. the hotel was clean and in great repair. there is a roof deck for relaxing. WIFI is good on the roof, so you can Skype home easily. We had friend come over for a glass of wine on the roof before dinner. (go right out the front door to buy wine/beer. better prices than the main street) Breakfast is very nice. I ate outside on a couple of the days. the beach is a short walk away.

I recently stayed a total of 3 nights in the Port Hotel in Tel Aviv and had a wonderful experience. Location is great: 3 minute walk to a small, excellent beach, and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was small but functional, bed very comfortable, a/c worked great. Included Breakfast was limited [by Israeli breakfast standards] but did the job: salad, fruits, cereals, toast, pastries, yogurt & cheese. And I definitely want to single out the front desk staff. They were terrific! Consistently responsive, professional and courteous but also friendly and engaging - and VERY helpful, from recommending restaurants, to local directions to wake up calls, etc. In particular, Eden made my last day and night there a pleasure, going th extra mile to help me out. Overall, an extremely satisfying stay - highly recommended!
