“Very good location, price, cleanliness and staff.”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

Easy access to beach and lots of flat walking around. All units are at basement level, so no views but well lit and well appointed. Lots if cafes and restaurants close by, as well as art galleries, antiques and interesting shopping.
No parking onsite but public parking facilities within 2 blocks, 20 NIS per day.
If in units 1-4 close all windows to avoid road noise. Units 5-9 have small courtyards.
We were 2 couples staying for a weekend and loved it.
Definitely keeping details for return visits.

Dear TasStark

Thank you very much for leaving a positive review. We, At Sea Land Apartments, are doing our best to offer a great customer service, quality bedrooms and excellent value for money.

Our rooms have lots of day light and most of them have a private terrace where you can unwind after a long day sightseeing or at the beach.

We hope to see you again in Tel Aviv!

Given the general price level in Tel Aviv, Sea Land is OK. Still, it's not exactly my dream staying in a basement room and cleaniness wasn't extraordinary (especially the bathroom ).

Location is good though.

Dear Guest,

Some of our room are indeed basement rooms, which means that the window is rather small and high. The majority of our rooms feature a large private terrace, so should you be interested to have more light and an outdoor terrace where you can unwind after a day at work, we would recommend you to book any other of the room types available on our site. Nevertheless, the English Basement rooms are signaficantly cheaper and they offer excellent value-for-money!

We hope to see you again among our guests.

We always stay at Sea-Land when we go to Israel. The reason we keep going back is because it is convenient, comfortable and reasonably priced. The manager Shloimi is a gem, nothing is too much trouble for him. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who isn't looking for the lap of luxury, but wants the convenience of location, your own kitchen and a clean and modern apartment.

Dear Marilyn,

Always good to have you among our guests. Thank you so much for your positive review and I hope to see you once again soon!

As you mentioned, we probably have the best location in Tel Aviv. The apartments are located on Ben Yehuda Street with its many cafes, restaurants as well as the adjacent supermarket and the fashionable Dizengoff Street.

Once again, thank you for being with us and see you soon!

Visited TLV and stayed at Sea Land again. Bed was comfy and clean, shower nice and warm. Kitchen was clean and big. The apartments here are very safe and you are within minutes of the beach and Dizengoff shopping - the buses are right outside your door - literally. Or, take a nice walk to Old Yaffo, and Nahalat Binyamin for some amazing shopping. This place has it all and staffers Shlomi and Irena go out of their way to accommodate you. When I return to Israel, I plan to stay at Sea Land Apartments - again!

During our recent trip to Israel, we stayed in two apartments in Tel Aviv. Sea Land was by far the better of the two. While not a full blown "hotel" in the American sense of the word, Sea Land was a very nice place to stay all things considered. The rooms are clean with modern styling. There is a grocery store right across the street and a Jewish synagogue with public Mikveh right next door. The Mediterranean ocean is only 3 blocks away, and a parking lot only 2 blocks away. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. Best of all, Sea Land is at the far north end of Ben Yehuda Street which puts you close enough to walk to lots of stuff (shopping, entertainment, food, beach, etc.) but not smack dab in the middle of all the 24-hour non-stop craziness (traffic, people, etc.)

Word to the wise: If you have never been to Tel Aviv, and you're thinking "I'll just rent a car and stay in one of these inexpensive 'downtown' or 'beach' area hole-in-the-wall apartments" you better make 100% sure you know what you're in for. Compared to American cities, Tel Aviv is CRAZY, drivers are CRAZY, pedestrians are CRAZY, the streets are CRAZY (and very very narrow), and there is practically NO parking anywhere. Take your strongest anti-anxiety medication with you because you'll need it, or half a bottle of wine, when you finally get settled in your room the first night!!! Even better, just pay for a cab from the airport and enjoy your wine anyway at Sea Land Apartments without all the stress of driving. It's a much better option!

Room Tip: Basement rooms are cheapest, still very nice and actually quieter than the other rooms

Dear Kevin,

It was a pleasure reading your review. We are indeed located in the heart of Ben Yehuda Street, in an unbeatable location, just opposite a large supermarket, adjecent to many cafes and restaurants and litteraly at the footstep of Bus and Sherut Taxi line #4, making Sea Land the ideal hotel for leisure and business travellers.

Parking in Tel Aviv is indeed an issue, but a large parking lot is available at extra fee within short walking distance. Our suites and rooms are quiet, clean and modern offering quality night sleep after a long and busy day sightseeing or at the beach.

We hope to see you once again among our guests!

Sea Land is an excellent, clean and quiet place to stay while you are in Tel Aviv. This wonderful apartment/hotel is centrally located, 1 block to the beach and easy access to transportation everywhere. The owner and staff are extremely welcoming and will help you with your every need.
Comfortable beds, very clean, a full kitchen with coffee and tea. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had a one bedroom for two people and had two terraces.

If I wanted to spend my vacation in the basement, I do so without traveling to Israel (travel time 10hrs by plane), and on top of all pay for it $154.00 per night! I agree there some folks who would love to spend their vacation in the basement. I think that the hotel management should do a better job by letting the costumer decide whether or not they prefer to spent their time while on vacation in BASEMENT. The entire "hotel" is situated in the BASEMENT in total of 12 rooms. No view, neighbors (regular residents from above who actually reside in the building will remark you, by yelling hey you turn the TV down, if you should decide to watch TV after 12. In short if you simply would like to enjoy a quite vacation don't go there. P.S. the bedrooms are tiny!

Room Tip: No fitness room, no swimming pool. No view, because its basement.
