We booked two rooms for two nights at the Arbel Suites and couldn't have had a better experience. The location is perfect and close to everything, it's in a really quiet street, but 2 mins walk from the main shopping area and about 7 mins walk from the beach. They have good bikes you can use for free which is great for getting to Jaffa and around town.

The rooms are perfectly maintained, clean and decorated with style and attention to detail - it doesn't feel like you are in an anonymous hotel, it looks like someone has put their own love and care into fitting out the rooms.

The staff are outstanding and couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and as our flight was not until the evening on the day we checked out, they checked their bookings and because our room wasn't needed that night, they let us use it right until we left for the airport for a token charge.

enjoyed a superb birthday weekend with 3 friends @ the Arbel's - what a wonderful surprise!!!
Great location in a small quiet street, just in the center of the city, steps away from the dizengof street, not far from to the theater and the beach.
Nice suites with a lot of attention to small details, free bikes for use, and above all - the friendly family who owns and runs the place with such care and warm attitude - we couldn't ask for more!

Stayed June, 2014
At first, we were going to reserve at an on-the-beach hostel, mostly because of price. So glad we didn't!! ALWAYS read the reviews! Except for cost, the cheap places were dirty, run-down, noisy, and insecure.
Yes, the Arbel Suites was more $$, but so worth the extra. Clean, spacious room, wifi included, within walking distance of almost everything. All the amenities you expect, appliances, snacks, free espresso/tea whenever, engaging conversation with the hosts, close enough to a main street with shopping, restaurants, etc. Very comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom, elevator to upper floors.
The breakfast was not included, but very nice buffet outdoors under a covered patio with plenty of seating, books, sometimes a live music group!
Only one "con"; it IS in a residential neighborhood, so the outside noise creeps in early in the morning, even with windows shut. However the A/C white noise mostly kept that out.
Will definitely stay here again next time in Tel Aviv.

Room Tip: We used Booking.com to get a good rate. Be sure to read their reviews! The Arbel Suites is rated a...

Since the beginning of our stay until the end of it the service was quite flawless. The rooms were very cozy as windows faced towards back alley. Needless to say that staying in Tel Aviv in June an air conditioner and a refrigerator were invaluable. Good Wi-Fi. Excellent location near nice cafeterias and juice bars. We will be back.

We stayed at Arbel Suites in late April 2014 and could not have been more pleased with this accommodation facility.
The staff , our room , location and breakfast were all excellent.
Of all the hotels etc we stayed in during our 7 weeks in the Middle East this was the equal best.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite, it was large with microwave, small refrig, hot pot, table and chairs. Very comfortable and clean. Noisy garbage trucks and pigeons. The breakfast was good, but could have put out more lox and herring. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Definitely stay here again, great location, an oasis.

Room Tip: Away from street noise.

We stayed at Arbel Suites on two occasions on our recent trip to Israel. We were traveling with our adult daughter, so needed a bit more privacy than a regular hotel room provides. The suites have all been recently redone and are very nice--spacious with up-to-date, clean bathrooms. The location is great--just off Dizengoff where there are lots of restaurants, shops etc. Within a 10 minute walk to beach (Arbel supplies beach towels). We had dinner at Goocha--excellent food as well as happy hour at Cerveza (2 for 1 from 6:00 - 9:00) followed by pizza at Zota pizza across the street. The staff at Arbel were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast is optional which is a nice choice--we had it one morning--not as bountiful as at other places we stayed. Parking also available for a reasonable fee. Free bikes, too. I would definitely return
