Excellent hotel, comfortable with attentive staff. The restaurant is good for breakfast or a light meal but there are good restaurants a short walk away. My room was spacious with kitchenette and sitting area

I stayed here for one night, and from the moment I walked in the staff was incredible.
The rooms are spacious and essentially sound proof.
Complimentary drinks made me decide this is an A+ establishment.
Absolutely returning and definitely recommending to friends and family.

The rooms are spacious, the ceilings are high, the rooms are essentially sound proof. It's not a typical hotel room feel. it's more like your own modern apartment without the clutter and with cool art. I've been to Diaghilev probably 5-6 times in the last two years on business. The rooms I've been in have a bedroom, living room and kitchenette (dishes/forks/knives,glasses,cups). If you're here for business, the living room is a great place to get work done. It is airy and a great place to think. The lobby and public spaces are filled with handmade rugs and art and has a wonderful design consciousness. The lobby has a great ambiance. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

The neighborhood is charming. a few blocks from Rothschild Boulevard, great restaurants and fantastic nightlife. Especially near by of note, 2 minute walk, is Delicatessen on YehudaHalevi, which has daily made breads, amazing almond croissants and coffee, cheeses, bistro, prepared foods open everyday at 7:30am.

The hotel has parking underground.

It is startup-friendly, as well. with Thursday night meetups of prominent israeli companies/speakers, it has a co-working location that is inexpensive.

Recently they added a restaurant 'Back Stage'..I haven't tried the food, but it is convenient, and frankly a great place to conduct business over coffee, which I've done. there's also an outdoor space with tables and benches.

I love the place, its authenticity. I'd go back both for business and for pleasure.

Just back from three nights (2+1) in this hotel in two different rooms. Both rooms were very spacious and made us feel really comfortable. Rooms are very quiet and we had three perfect noiseless nights. The location is also great, walking distance from most interesting places and close to shops / restaurants. And the best, the service. Extremely friendly and really helpful, not only for our stay in Tel Aviv, but also with tips for our trip. We will definitively come back to this hotel.

As i sit in the lobby waiting for my taxi and my onward flight to Johannesburg i think back on my experience at The Diaghilev and it could only be described as perfect.
This is the second time i am staying at the hotel this week and both suites i have stayed in have been very comfortable and sizable.

The staff are the most professional and hospitable i have come across during my travels , which are mostly for business and on my own , having such accommodating and passionate is a blessing when traveling ace up.

The rooms are huge and it is like having your very own mod designed apartment in Tel Aviv, truly a Home away from home.

The Art Deco through out the hotel is very interesting and the flat screen Tv with a range of satellite TV makes the evening after work very relaxing ,

The downstairs cafe , Backstage , is very quirky and interesting, breakfast are very different and do not expect bacon and eggs. the staff in the cafe are always friendly and helpful in satisfying your pallet , everything is freshly made in front of you and the ingredients are of premium quality.

The Location is ideal if your looking to visit the bustling Rothschild boulevard and their are a variety of Pubs and cafes withing walking distance of the hotel

In summary the Diaghilev is a very welcoming and beautiful hotel and i would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tel Aviv. the hotel and people are true ambassadors to Israel

Room Tip: anywhere on the 5th or 6th floor , i have stayed on both.

We've been staying at the Diaghilev for a number of years during our visits to Tel Aviv and it has been fantastic each time. Staying at the Diaghilev is the true Tel Aviv experience. The suites are designed carefully as Tel Aviv high scale apartments rather than standard hotel rooms and you feel like you LIVE in Tel Aviv rather than merely visit it. Steps away from the beautiful and vibrant Rotchild Boulevard, you find yourself at the heart of the Tel Aviv scene, both during the day, enjoying its cafés and outdoor friendly ambience, as well as at night, with fine dining and nightlife venues all around.
The staff is super helpful and friendly, quickly embracing you -if you wish - to the Diaghilev extended family :-).
Finally, the hotel is designed as an art gallery with changing exhibits, adding another layer of cultural depth to your experience.
Clearly, we're big fans! Warmly recommending!

Just left this hotel and really loved it. Great location within walking distance of so much-2 blocks from Rothchild Blvd. and lots of restaurants. Rooms were huge with free internet and the staff, Miriam in particular we're so nice and helpful. Tel Aviv and the hotel are so clean and it was a real pleasure. I did not want to leave!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Diaghilev is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by an excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery exhibiting over 500 artworks that change every 6 months, unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev has recently established a HUB for Start-ups and integrates a wide activity in such fields as design, fashion and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artist visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built in the purest Bauhaus the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich of hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of a recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are produced and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept lead to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives. ... more   less
