Fantastic hotel with excellent service. Very nice staff. Can highly recommend... The art on the wall is worth a good look. Grab a beer in the bar and walk all floors. The staff is very keen to help and guided us to some very nice restaurants, markets and "hidden" places in the city.

Room Tip: Spend the cash on a superior - you wont regret

My wife and I stayed at the hotel in May 2014. We met Teddy at the front desk. Very nice. He upgraded us to a premium suite for no charge. The room consists of a bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, and outside balcony. A good king size bed, good shower and bathroom, free wi fi, great AC, complimentary orange juice, coffee, and water. A welcome drink beer, wine, or soft drink when you check in. Real nice folks at the front desk. Did not take breakfast because of check in check out times. A prompt wake up call and arranged a cab to take us to Sde Dov airport. Very clean and quiet. This hotel deserves its rating. We will be staying here again at the end of our two week trip. Thanks.

Loved this hotel the first time, three years ago, and loved it again. Our room was like an apartment - very spacious, clean and light. It has a terrific ambience and the location is perfect. I really love Tel Aviv. It is so full of surprises. As a city it looks third world in many parts, but there's always something sensational behind many of the facades - and the Diaghalev is no exception.

We spent one week in Tel-Aviv and our stay in Diaghilev L.A. Hotel was perfect for that. The hotel is a typical Bauhaus building ideally located in a very nice and quiet area with charming restaurant and cafés, and not far from the center and the Rothschild avenue. The receptionists are very professional and helpful, the rooms are big and always perfectly cleaned and prepared.
We do recommand it !!

An absolutely wonderful hotel, my three nights stay here was pure bliss, the rooms are amazing, nice and big with everything you could need, my room had an amazing balcony. The service was wonderful with friendly people in reception and warm staff in the bar. Highly recommended

The Diaghilev is a great hotel! Great rooms (there were six of us, I got to check out a few) with a unique design touch to each. Different art around the walls, lots of smiles and a neat little bar that serves food as well as alcohol. The bed was great and one of the best on my recent trip. My room had a fantastic chair that I spent a lot of time relaxing in, and also had a Nespresso machine (though I think that may have been a special treat, damn good idea though!) In a good location close to good food etc and with great views from the higher levels. I'd not hesitate to either stay there again or recommend The Diaghilev to anyone looking for something a bit nice.

I rated Restaurant and Room service "very good" rather than "excellent" as I had limited use of those services - the use I did have was great.

Room Tip: Room 521 has a great balcony!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Diaghilev is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by an excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery exhibiting over 500 artworks that change every 6 months, unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev has recently established a HUB for Start-ups and integrates a wide activity in such fields as design, fashion and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artist visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built in the purest Bauhaus the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich of hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of a recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are produced and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept lead to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives. ... more   less
