Stayed here a while back, and enjoyed it very much. I found the rooms to be comfortable and spacious, with strong wifi signal, which was free. Asked many questions at the front desk, and was always able to get an accurate answer. Reasonably priced compared to other properties near the beach, yet I didn't feel I sacrificed anything. Breakfast, and snacks were quite good, and always tasted fresh. Had an evening flight home, and they were willing to work with me on a late checkout time.

Very nice hotel. Clean, excellent quality rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, very nice happy hour, and great location. This was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our recent two week vacation in Israel.

Our 2-night stay at the Shalom capped off a wonderful 12-night vacation in Israel. We LOVED this luxurious boutique hotel and recommend it highly.
Location.....excellent....we love to walk and thoroughly enjoyed the delightful walk on the beach promenade all the way down to Old Jaffa....also nicely located taking the shorter walk north to the Port area for dinner.
Rooms....since we were only staying for two nights, and these were our last two nights in Israel, we sprung for the Superior room.....clean, spacious, modern with great bathroom/showers.....having previously stayed at the Harmony in Jerusalem for 4 nights, I’m sure the standard room would have been fine.....but this room allowed us to spread our suitcases without difficulty...and had a lovely view of the Mediterranean from our window....
Food.....Breakfast.....a feast....similarly excellent to what we’d experienced at the Harmony in Jerusalem....just better....and the afternoon hors d’hoeuvres......outstanding.....with wine and drinks offered to take up to the delightful rooftop balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea....comfortable and private tables and chairs.....fabulous!
Staff and Welcome Desk....I’ve been to plenty of good boutique hotels in my day....but I can’t remember any that I would rate above this hotel.....I only wish I could remember the various names of the staff at the Shalom....each and every person at this hotel made us feel like royalty....I’m not exaggerating....from the moment we arrived, they treated us like family and couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful.....showing us around the hotel, presenting our room and guiding us with sites and restaurants on the Tel Aviv map.....trust me that whatever I write here does not do them justice....we’ve stayed in other hotels in Israel and Europe and the Shalom is #1.....the day we checked out, our last day in Israel, was still a full day for us.....no problem to store all our luggage.....also a gratuitous invite to come back in the afternoon to enjoy the hors d’hoeuvres and rest on the rooftop balcony (we didn’t take advantage of this, but the offer was made without hesitation).
Value....this is not an inexpensive hotel....and price is an important consideration for us..... but even in the Superior Room (which cost about 15% more than the Standard Room) we felt we had terrific value for our two night stay here.....without question I would stay here again if we return to Tel Aviv.

I just checked into this hotel last night and am EXTREMELY happy. The place is clean, sunny and bright. Though the bathrooms are a bit small (especially the shower), it has everything you would need. They also provided a beautiful dried fruit and nut arrangement in my room. The breakfast is also outstanding. A buffet is offered along with eggs cooked to order and also coffee made to order including cappuccino and expresso at no extra charge! Very good value for the money. I love it here and know I will enjoy my stay!

No fitness center which would be nice. However the hotel I'd right behind the Hilton and they said you can use their fitness center for a fee ($19).

Very good hotel close to the beach. We found this hotel to be very cosy. We stayed as a family and really enjoyed our stay here. The whole place was very clean and well kept. The location was really good - because although not directly on the beach it was very close. We found this to be a good compromise between price and location. Staff were very helpful. The only two negatives about this place is the fact that breakfast can get very busy (the sitting area is quite small) and twice I came down with no where to sit so had to skip breakfast. It wasn't a massive problem because there was lots of restaurants close by. My advice would be to book without breakfast if it was an option. Also, even though we was on the 6th floor (only the roof terrace was higher), we still experienced some road noise from outside as our room was facing the main road. Other than this it was a good stay.

Shalom and relax is a lovely place. Conveniently located just moments from the beach. It's breakfast buffet was the best of the four hotels we stayed at during our Israel trip. Service was friendly and appropriate. Our room was a bit small for American standards but comfortable, well-appointed and clean. It had a good view of the Hilton and the beach.

Hotel Shalom is a very nice place to stay either on business or pleasure.....good service and good people....with an wonderful israeli breakfast. Take a time to walk at the park just in front of the hotel and by the sea side.

Room Tip: Look for the rooms by the back side with no street noise
