My wife and I were back last week at the Shalom hotel where we have been staying half a dozen time this past year. The team there, which has not changed in one year, which is an excellent sign, has again been extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Great room (on the 4th floor), excellent breakfast with, every day, a touch of renewal, and, as always, very nice view over the Tel Aviv bay and very practical location. The living room is a great place to stay during the day to relax or to have private business meetings with coffee or tea available. We strongly recommend the Shalom Hotel.

Room Tip: Prefer a room facing the sea for the view, but choose a room on the other side if you prefer quietne...

Shalom Hotel is a great boutique hotel with an extremely nice service.
As you step in you understand immediately that this is not one of these huge impersonal hotels where you have to wait in line for everything from check in to check out.
We had a great room, nicely decorated with a very well appointed bathroom.
We enjoyed the great breakfasts and the "Happy Hour" drinks and snacks in the evening.
I was there on a business trip but it felt like a vacation. Everybody was ready to help and sort out efficiently any request : restaurant, beach, taxis, …
I can only warmly recommend this hotel and I will obviously come back there on my next trip to Tel Aviv.

Stayed here one night and I wish it had been longer. The service was fantastic. From the time you enter, you are welcomed. I arrived before my room was available, and was immediately offered a choice of coffee or tea and tasty croissants. The room was very nice, relaxing, great shower/bath combination. There were more treats waiting there (see photo), frig and coffee choices galore, nice little sitting area with a view, comfy bed. free internet. The piece de resistance was the roof lounge (see more photos) where you can enjoy the sea view and relax. Wow - this is one hotel that lives up to its name. Across the street there is a nice park and then you can take a path down to a wonderful, accessible beach with a great restaurant. Lastly, the hotel breakfast was out of this world. Amazing selection of delicacies, drawers of different types of herbal teas, cheeses, etc. The staff was fantastic in every way. I would not stay at another hotel in Tel Aviv to be sure.

Room Tip: Definitely ask for ocean view.

We have recently stayed at the Shalom Hotel and as we entered the front desk felt. Wow this is great!! We were warmly welcomed with delicious treats and the staff were so friendly.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The "Happy Hour " snacks were so delicious we couldn't even fit in dinner!!!
Well the breakfasts were the best!! Looked forward to them each day. Fresh delicious and lots of variety. The staff were outstanding. They became our friends and could not do enough for us. Simona, thank you for your generous hospitality and all the cups of " Americanas!!!"
We look forward to staying there soon again.

Room Tip: A great hotel, excellent value

We have traveled quite a bit in many different countries, and as the title of this review says, the Shalom Hotel is one of the best - anywhere. We stayed at this hotel for one night in October 2013, and had an outstanding experience there: beginning with the reception, where we were invited to sit down and have a drink, and everything was explained to us in a friendly and unhurried manner, continuing with the upgrade that they gave us, so that we had probably the best room at the hotel (top floor, with a view of the ocean) and I could go on and on. The room we stayed in was incredible; it was the "Spa" room, with a jacuzzi in the room, facing the Mediterranean. The room was decorated in extremely good taste: all pastel blue and white and had such a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and all the amenities, there was a coffee/tea making corner, the shower was great - in short, everything you could ask for in a hotel room. And the breakfast! The breakfast was served downstairs in the lobby, which is beautiful, and there was an enormous variety of food, plus an extra "egg menu" from which you could have any kind of eggs made to order. The service at breakfast was friendly and quick, and we lingered there quite a while because it was so pleasant.
I'd like also to mention that there is a "Happy Hour" every evening at the hotel, where you can have delicious snacks and drinks before going out. There's also a rooftop deck where you can relax during the day or watch the sunset over the Mediterranean in the evening.
All in all our stay at the Shalom Hotel was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone. If you can afford it, I highly recommend the Spa room on the top floor, which has a view of the sea. There is no view of the sea from rooms on the lower floors, but the seashore is very close by - less than a 5-minute walk.

I think this is one of the best hotels in Israel (basis for comparison: Melody Hotel and Royal Beach Isrotel in Tel Aviv, Bay Club in Haifa and Mount Zion in Jerusalem)

It's pretty new (appx 2-3 years), stylish, good location.

We stayed in Superior room:
- very nice, bright, spaceous enough
- comfortable bathroom with bathtume, shower (usual and "rain") and all other common bath features
- quite (windows on the side opposite to Hayarkon street)

The breakfast menu was good & wide enough (though its kasher).
At happy ours (appx 5pm) they surved even soup - in addition to snacks, fruits, soft drinks & wine (common to all Atlas hotels)

Client service on good level, helpful and friendly.

Small & nice things like chocolate & strawberry & drink at check-in, always available free apples... Free bikes...

Advice - ask for massage (reasonable price) at reception and specify name of the master - Anna - she's THE MASTER!

Very cosy and stylish roof top.

If speak about disadvantages - only few:
- matrass - not good, not comfortable
- hm... No more disadvantages

Advice - book in advance!

Probably the best Hotel Breakfast in Israel. It has good cheese, real fresh juices, like carrot and orange and a wonderful service. Not just the quality of the breakfast products is good but also the excellency and kindness of the service is amazing.
