Wow, from starters through dessert everything was scrumptious. The three of us began with three appetizers that we shared. The baked cauliflower with a sauce blend of cashew, turmeric, and coconut milk was simply divine. The eggplant saganaki was a perfect balance of acid and savory with the incorporation of tomatoes and feta cheese. The third appetizer we devoured was a special, chopped grilled rump steak over a bed of Asian noodles with a Thai peanut sauce. One word: YUM. The local wines from Seahorse met our California scrutiny. ENTREES: The grilled Runner Fish on a bed of black lentils (a special) was cooked to perfection. The Black Squid Ink pasta cooked Al dente topped with shrimp and an assortment of fish (another special) in a tomato based sauce was another win. An amazing meal completed perfectly by a salted toffee chocolate tart. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere with excellent taste in jazz. Across the street from the famous Mizlala this restaurant holds its own and for the quality of the cuisine it is a value.
