Hotel is as close to the beach as you can ask, it's more about utillity this time - it's not the most magnificent, but it is very comfortble, clean and rooms are OK. Walked around with friends that were more impressed from the restaraunts and bars around (FOUNTAIN SODA- AT MIKES PLACE PIZZA!!!!!!)Love views from the hotel and it is great value!

Room Tip: Cant beat the sea view

My husband & I were at this hotel for 2 weeks .... Holiday ended yesterday 9/8/14 . On first arriving at hotel on the 26th July we were welcomed by Jad at reception .... We had a lovely welcome from him & he explained what to do when the siren went off & was very helpful with other info. When we got to our room we noticed our kingsize zip mattress was made as 2 beds My hubby went to reception & almost immediately someone from housekeeping was sent Unfortunately it was very clear to see she was not happy at having to remake bed.... She made us feel very uncomfortable!! Small things irritated us simple things like eaten biscuits were not replaced on a daily basis & a lovely flower which was in our bathroom when we arrived was not disposed of when it had perished I had to put it in a noticeable place but could not believe it when later on that day the flower had been binned but the smelly water left in the vase which I disposed off Most of the concierge staff were not helpful one in particular when we had booked hotel courtesy bus for 10.30 it did not arrive & when we enquired about it we were told in an offhand manner it might be here at 12!!!!! We did not accept this & asked for the manager & were asked with attitude Why? Amir at the door , Lauren in the restaurant for breakfast & other waiting staff were just lovely Over all good hol

4 1/2 Stars.
I was actually impressed with this hotel and a little nervous prior to arrival...
The lobby area is clean, beautiful and modern. Check-in staff very friendly.
The pool, at first, seems strange bc it has a cover that appears to retract so while we were there it covered 1/2 the pool & while dated-looking, was Extremely functional and appreciated bc of the Serious Israel Heat.
Rooms are standard American size, clean, extremely comfortable bed. Bathrooms are 'ok'. Not a lot of counter space but all in all worth the value for the spectacular location and amazing views and being right on the beach. Deck is small & plastic chairs kind of dumb down the experience but are practical for wet bathing suits and sandy sandals, so actually pretty practical
The walk along the promenade is my favorite part of being in Tel Aviv. Go to La La Land for a yummy breakfast & where I discovered my new favorite Israeli dish - Hummus with warm lamb - Omg good.
Other newish areas to check out in Tel Aviv - Sarona, the old railroad station; market in Jaffa is very cool as is the port..
And if you like vegetarian, try a sandwich called Sabich - the best is at the corner of Frischman and Dizengoff next to the falafel stand - you will Not be disappointed.

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view but the ones closer to the sea obviously have a better one due to the phys...

The Crowne Plaza was in a great location on the Beach. The front desk staff was kind enough to bring a cot to our room. My daughter had the pull out sofa-bed, which is big enough for 2 small kids and my son used the cot. The rooms are not large but decent enough for several nights. The best part of this hotel is the restaurant. Not only is the food terrific (especially Friday night dinner), but the employees are so friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the employee from NY who provided us with information on sights and to Irina who had a big smile whenever we entered the restaurant.

The location can't be beat, and the huge rooms means there is plenty of room for a king size bed, pull out bed and a babies crib, but the family rooms are in need of decoration. The hotel staff were good at providing for babies, and didn't mind the additional mess a 10 month old brings at breakfast, but this hotel needs a face lift. The pool is partly covered which means in May it is cold, and the life guard isn't a fan of kids round the pool.
I'd stay again for the convenience and room size but its not luxury

Dear Ms. Samantha N,

Thank you so much for your review of our hotel, and for taking the time to express your thoughts and concerns. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us!

Regarding yours concern on the swimming pool in May, please be advised that it has got a retractable roof, as it is heated in the Winter.

The life guard was giving some of our guest’s kids issues and we are grateful you brought this to our attention.

We really appreciate your comments; as we hope we get the opportunity to show you some of our improvements on your next visit at the Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv Beach!

Sincerely yours,

Obviously a stunning location. Very close to city and right on the beach:

- arrived last time round (3rd time there in 6 months) at 5 am. soft-checked in, changed in the toilets as room wasn't ready, dropped off bags and went to meetings,. Arrived back at 4pm to be told I was being bumped to Herods. That was the end of my visiting this hotel.

Free wifi, nice rooms, not such a great breakfast to my mind. Very nice bar area though. Staff seemed generally very nice.

I can't recall the ironing availability but their ATM did not like Irish or UK bank cards (debit).

Also I should say their rate for Tel Aviv hotel of this star rating is pretty decent generally.

I can see why people would stay here but as I said, not for me

The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was amazing.
I would recommend an ocean view room to watch the volleyball.
The hotel has a great buzz to it and would highly recommend it for families and business travellers.
