“Excellent Stay in Tel Aviv”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2013 via mobile

Stayed for 2 nights in November. Large spacious rooms, comfortable. beds, very friendly and helpful staff, and close to the beach. We particularly enjoyed walking from the hotel to Jaffa and taking a walking tour of Jaffa, one of the highlights of our visit to Israel.

From the time I arrived I felt part of the Regency suites family. The staff were so enthusiastic about their hotel and city you couldnt help but enjoy yourself. There is free cappucino at reception and free wifi throughout the hotel. The room was spacious and clean although there is so much to do I didnt spend much time in the room. There are lots of restaurants and great places within walking distance. When I left, the reception organised me a good deal for a taxi to the airport. I can highly reccommend this hotel

This all suites hotel is located a block away from the beach along the central part of tel aviv. A perfect location.

The suite was renovated, large and clean. The separate living room area had a double (hide-a) bed, kitchen, tv and closets. The bedroom had a king bed, a tv and closets. Chairs and tables in both, rooms separated by double doors. The linens were quite good. The bathroom had a stand up glass shower with good pressure. Word to the wise: the bathroom sink has a weird design flaw that has the water splashing out onto you if you turn the water to even modest pressure. Try turning the tap head closer to one side but still keep the pressure low. Annoying but in a head scratching way. The room is decorated primarily in white, and while certainly new and fresh, it gave it a clinical antiseptic feel as well. A little colour here and there would balance this out.

The breakfast buffet was included with out booking, otherwise it's $11USD/PP. It is rather modest and unchanging but adequate: veggies, boiled eggs, egg salad, tuna salad, cheeses, cereals, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, tea.

There is apparently complimentary parking if you have a car, but we didn't so we didn't partake.

The hotel offers beach towels, which came in very handy. As a side note the chairs at the beach (separate from hotel, basically 1/2 block away) are 6 shekels for a sitting chair, 12 for a lay down one, for the day. There is a guy at the beach who does that, you can't miss him.

The hotels staff were friendly, helpful and extremely pleasant. Check in was a breeze, as was check out, and any inquiry we had.

The hotel offers complimentary wifi in your suite, which is very useful and a great touch. The connection was always strong.

The hotel is of solid construction. We never heard anyone and slept soundly. Israelis seem to love to honk their horns for any reason, and unfortunately we could clearly hear this from our suite. I don't believe the location or the hotel has anything to do with it - car horn honking seems to be a national sport here. Other reviewers have claimed a higher floor will alleviate. We were one floor up from the lobby, but then again that's where the renovated suites are. I'd choose our floor again if given the choice.

Given the cost of a typical suite in a hotel that is basically right next to the beach in tel aviv, this hotel was an excellent value. We paid a little over $200 Canadian for the 3 of us, breakfasts and taxes included. This is a nice, clean, friendly and well located hotel - an excellent and smart choice IMO.

We have stayed at this suite hotel on several occasions. Our last stay was from October 14th to October 27th of 2013. We can definitely recommend this suite hotel because the front desk staff,
Leah, Segal, Hillary, Haviv and Daniel made our stay very pleasant. Our room was very clean and quiet. We stayed in 502 with bathrooms which worked out well for the family. We had a slight problem with the air conditioning in the master bedroom. Daniel brought in a professional outside technician who fixed the problem right away. Excellent location across the street from Tel Aviv beach. Many nice restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Buses and shuttles on Ben Yehuda Street behind the hotel. Taxis stands and a rental car agency right on Hayarkon Street. Free underground parking is a big plus.

We had stayed two days in a down-market airbnb place, and needed a clean, bright but not too expensive night for a break. This was the perfect and affordable (relative to other nearby very expensive hotels) choice. We enjoyed the 2-room suite with kitchenette, and the quiet, air-conditioned atmosphere. It was hard to return to our previous accomodation.

During my last trip to Tel Aviv, I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Best Western Regency Suites. It is very conveniently located in the heart of downtown Tel Aviv, and put us in the center of all the action! My wife & I stayed there on two separate occasions within the past month & were pleasantly surprised with the friendly & helpful staff. who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Even though the hotel is under going major renovations, our amenities and convenience were not hindered; it was an absolute pleasure to stay in one of the newly renovated suites on the first floor. Our experience was outstanding- the facility was absolutely spotless, luxurious and we enjoyed pristine bathrooms. Location, Service and Price are unbeatable.

Room Tip: Sea facing with a balcony, if available.

Great establishment, perfect location on sea coast, impeccably clean and with parking. Very basic & simple, so any US located BW is emperor's palace in comparison.
Very decent breakfasts =$11 each but service in breakfast room if we can call it this way is so robot-like with stone-faced ladies whom you need to ask and wait 5 min every time you want some coffee.
