Went to this hotel for our Wedding Anniversary - so glad we did. The hotel is undergoing renovations but they are being handled sensitively to the needs of guests. Our suite was delightful, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated.

There were 2 bathrooms (both so clean they looked brand new!), one with shower and the other with a bath, 2 wall-mounted flat screen TVs - and a clean, well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, toaster oven. Excellent amount of storage for clothing etc.

The lobby and dining areas are tastefully and imaginatively decorated - and again, spotlessly clean. There are free hot drinks available all day long in the lobby.

The breakfast was fresh and appetising, and outstanding value for money.

There is free parking - quite a treat for the centre of Tel Aviv, and the beach is literally only walking distance away.

The staff team were beyond amazing - it was like staying with family, but we were treated royally! The receptionist was extremely helpful, advising on places to visit, to eat and where to take taxis and bus rides. The hotel manager actually took the time to come and speak to us personally, and tell us about his ongoing plans for the hotel.

We plan to return next year and are really looking forward to seeing the planned changes.

If you stay at the Best Western Regency Hotel in Tel Aviv, I can promise you will not be disappointed.

We arrived in Israel last night and spent the night at the Best Western at 80 Hayarkon. We are also booked there at the end of our stay for a few nights. The check in process was easy, Leah at the desk was very friendly and we were happy to have gotten an upgrade to a room with a balcony. Our room was large enough for the four of us, the parking garage was a big bonus, although the ramp going down is a bit narrow. The balcony was huge and it was nice to see the water. The location is across from or next to some bigger hotels and right across the street from Masada which is a benefit because the one thing lacking at the hotel is a good breakfast. It isn't included in the price, although parking and internet are included. I was glad it wasn't included because I would have been upset to have paid for what was really nothing appetizing to look at.
They did have one of those nescafe machines in the lobby and that was a treat for us jet lagged travelers. We also enjoyed lattes on the balcony this morning. The shower was great, the room was spacious with a door that closes between where we slept and where our kids slept. Happy we picked it and looking forwarded to our return visit.

Room Tip: We had room 504 which had a nice view and was quiet.

Although from the outside on HaYarkon this looks like one of the places you would not want to stay, it was perfect for us. A small hotel across the street from all the big ones, the hotel has huge rooms with sitting areas, which was perfect for us, since we came to visit our son who lives in Tel Aviv but has no "visiting area" in his studio. The décor is rather mundane, and the breakfast is so-so (instead, walk over to the Café W on Bograshav or LaLa Land on the beach (walk north, near the green beach chairs) for excellent breakfasts). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with some transportation needs, and we thought the value was excellent, as long as you weren't looking for the Ritz (or the Dan P. or the King D.)

Room Tip: If you get a room facing HaYarkon, you can see a sliver of the beach, but you also get some traffic noise if the window is open. But if you're like me and have to spend time waiting for others to get ready, the show on the street is great people-watching, with cabbies jostling for very few parking spaces, traffic tie ups due to deliveries, and general big city mayhem!

Stayed February in one of their newly renovated rooms. The room had a living room with flat screen tv and kitchen area
The bedroom had a another flat screen tv. The washroom was new with a high pressure hot shower, most enjoyable. The staff at the front desk are very helpful and pleasant to speak to. They were very polite and recommended restaurants and shopping areas. The location is a five minute walk to the beach. We would return again to this gem of a hotel.
