“Overall good, would stay again next time i am in Tel Aviv”
Reviewed 23 September 2011

I stayed here in October 2006. The room was nice and comfortable, very clean and a nice location. Clean and a very restful sleep. Only thing i could complain about is that the hotel did not have the heat on, and it was quite cold and they were not able to turn the heat on. that is the only complaint i have... The hotel was also very nice with arranging a taxi for me at the exact time i needed. I would surely stay there agin,

Room Tip: * my visit was in Sept-Oct 2006

The hotel is in the lovingly converted Esther Cinema and cleverly, but not overwhelmingly, takes is decor from that - little spotlights as reading lights, a director's chair at the room desk - with pieces of superbly engineered antique projection equipment around the place. There's an interesting history of the establishment in the balcony. Staff are friendly; reception adept at recommending good local restaurants. Their 'Five Minute Guide' is excellent at telling you what is within a brief walk, but he hotel is really handy for everything, surrounded by shops and restaurants, yet only a short walk from the beach. There is a sun-terrace and lounge with happy hour snacks. The rooms aren't huge, but are cosy with comfortable beds. Breakfast is good and usually included in the room rate. What would I do to give the place a finishing touch? Upgrade the bathroom toiletries to something more chic - the ugly bottles of lurid pink liquid don't add anything! This is a good hotel in a lively area and - if one is allowed to say this - seemed to have only nice people staying.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Tel Aviv, just at the begining of the dizengof street. The location is awsome & so is the hotel. I stayed here for 15 days as I was on business visit. The hotel was actually a cinema (theatre) before & so the name.

Rooms are good with all basic needs. Staff is also efficient. Though it would be good if they improve on internet services.

Major advantage for indians is there is an indian hotel "Tandoor" just next to the Cinema hotel. So, you get all indian food near by. Moreover, you get famous "fala-fal" of Israel at the walking distance. Also, the beach is hardly 5-10 mins walking distance.
