The location is excellent - not only are you in the centre of town, but, surprisingly, once inside, it's very quiet, and the hustle and bustle noise of Dizengoff can't be heard. The room and bathroom are large by Israeli standards and have a chic design and are well-maintained. I really liked the pretty black and white tile in the modern bathroom. The "cinema" theme of the hotel extends into the rooms and bathrooms. The few staff I interacted with were all helpful and friendly - special mention must be given to Or who checked me in. Breakfast was the usual Israeli buffet spread, lots of choices and very tasty. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Have a top floor room facing the north.

Stayed here for several days while on business inTel Aviv. The building has a cinematic character and style. It was recommended to me by local Israelis (so that says something). I stayed at The Hilton (5*) for a week on business before spending a week here. I prefer this hotel (!) at 1/3rd of the price. So - character it was it has and a great central Tel Aviv location. Staff are friendly and helpful. A better attitude and standard of service than I get most places in the world where I stay on business trips. Free cycle hire so you can enjoy the area more quickly than simply walking around or get to Jaffa quickly instead of taking a taxi. A particularly nice touch is the ' happy hour' which last 3 hours - There are complimentary wine and snacks in the restaurant area. There is no bar here and the restaurant are is just for breakfast - so no evening meals. breakfast is a wide variety of not and cold options with the usual refills of filter coffee by the waiter - But there is obviously a good coffee machine in kthe kitchen because if you ask for an espresso they bring you ( they just don't advertise it). So if you're on a budget, looking for something friendly with character, looking for staff that extra go just that distance to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable experience then this could be the place for you. I have every confidence in recommending this hotel to you. So - if you are not in the lucky position where your employer is paying the bill then this could be the place for you 'on a budget'. If you are in that lucky position then choose this hotel as you will enjoy it more than the usual impersonal and clinical experience of staying at one of the usual and much more expensive options in Tel Aviv. Business notes (but may also be of interest to the tourist) - how would you like to do that extra bit of work on your laptop after a day of meetings with a couple of glasses of wine and snacks between 5-8 pm on a complimentary basis rather than paying those ridiculous prices at the hotel bar (feel free to check out the cost of a glass of wine at The Hilton). Try taking a bycycle to your meeting instead of taxi (unless it' really hot because you may sweat!). I got ripped of twice by taxi drivers taking me all over Tel Aviv in rush hour to bump up the meter instead of taking a direct route - so you have been warned. There is a small and smart business lounge suitable for meeting a colleague or small group. I worked here for 2 days and nobody else used it, comfy chairs, coffee tables but not a proper chair/desk for working at (yet) -I gave feedback to the maher on this. There is a terrace area I also used which is OK but about to be refurbished which will enhance it considerably as a comfortable area in which to sit and enjoy the skyline (or work). The desk and chair in my room were too close to the end of my bed to work at but other rooms have a different layout so ask for it if you need it. This is great value for money (even if it's your employer's and not yours!). As someone who uses hotels a lot - I enjoyed staying here, usually it is just a place to sleep, work and eat breakfast - breakfast is actually also good here too.

I stayed here for three nights as a first stop on a holiday throughout the Middle East with my mother and sister.
The booking process was smooth from an initial internet query through to emailing for confirmation.

The staff at reception when we checked in were very welcoming and informative.
Our room was cosy (read small) but from my knowledge of Tel Aviv this is quite normal.
Our triple room was very comfortable - three single beds and all were of the same standard and enough space to spread our suitcases out and make ourselves at home.
My one criticism is the hair dryer was useless!

Also the free wifi was a bit patchy in our room but it worked well in all the common areas.

The breakfast was fantastic and proves that a small kitchen in a hotel can provide breakfast with fresh delicious ingredients, variety and service. A perfect balance of an Israeli style breakfast with a few western-style choices too.

In general all the staff were friendly and very helpful (in particular all the female staff) there was one male staff member that was very arrogant and unhelpful towards us (perhaps because we were all female??)

Happy hour every day was a lovely touch and gave us the chance to meet some of the other guests staying at our hotel and the neighboring centre chic hotel.

The location was fantastic - everything can be reached by foot with buses also nearby. Dizingoff square was at our doorstep with the shopping centre only a block away. The beach was a 5 minute walk away and we were surrounded by a plethora of choices for lunch and dinner.

I highly recommend staying here - especially if you only have a few days to explore Tel Aviv (I wish we could have stayed longer!)

This hotel was first stop on a month long trip and it was fantastic. Basic room, but very clean and quiet while still smack bang in the middle of tel aviv. Staff were friendly and attentive, and patient with our many questions. Really great area with a busy second hand market on the doorstep. breakfast was very impressive with an incredible array of Israeli and more western style food. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Happy hour also a generous addition that I'm yet to encounter anywhere else.

Lots of thought and design awareness have been invested in converting this old cinema into a "cinema-theme" hotel. It makes for an interesting stay.
Don't miss the rooftop.
Was a pleasant stay. All members of staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Due to an inconsiderate guest blocking our car in the hotel car park, they offered to order us taxis to get to the location we had booked outside the hotel for dinner. They also took the initiative to reimburse us for the taxi expenses.
Balcony overlooking the famous "Agam" sculpture.
Central - within walking distance of the Dizengoff Centre shopping centre, as well as the Carmel market and Nahalat Binyamin Pedestrian arts & crafts area.

I stayed here for 4 nights (9-12th Jan 2014) and was very impressed. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable as you might expect but what really impressed me was the generosity of the management. They have gone one step further in offering probably the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen in terms of variety and quality. So many choices! Also, they offer a happy hour between 5-8pm and unbelievably this is free bubbly, wine and nibbles. It is a generous gesture and I appreciated it, hence this review. If you choose this hotel, you will not be disappointed if the hotel continues in this way. The reception staff were also very helpful and charming. Thank you all.

We stayed at the Cinema hotel for a weekend hollyday. the hotel design concept is very nice, planty of film memuars, posters , equipment and decorations, bring up a lot of Nostalgy.
The room is very nice and comfortable (although not very big). the room, the toilet and the public areas of the hotel are very clean.
Breakfast was fresh, nice and tasty, the hotel people are very pleasent, and the position of the hotel in the Dizengoff circus in the heart of the city is excelent.
Great weekend, we will be back.
