Good rooms in Tel Aviv are always expensive the Dan is no exception. Staff are generally good and the breakfast excellent. Even executive rooms are not large and sometime the cleaning leaves a little to be desired. Beware, there is a restaurant within the hotel called The Raphael, which is great food but will only accept payment there and then, which no one tells you; you cannot charge it to your room. The other restaurant in the hotel was always empty. The sun loungers are a bit grubby but towels are large and plentiful. Great location.

We had big expectations while booking this hotel .
It's impossible and unfair to say that is not a good hotel , i would say is from very good and upper , but is not a world class hotel as many would want to say .
positive ....amazing kosher food , great swimming pool , fancy room , great view to the see , nice lounge , the best location on the middle of the beach .
negative... not a king-size bed as expected , small sauna , the front-desk guys have an attitude problem like they are doing us a favor or something ....completely disappointed each time we had to entered in contact with the team there.
Overall , Dan is a great hotel but is not the perfect hotel as many would want to believe .
Overpriced .

My partner and I recently visited Tel Aviv for vacation. Our itinerary was simple: Beach, Food & Wine, Nightlife. The DAN exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of as family. The staff at reception, concierge, housekeeping and room service went out of their way to make sure our every need was met. They even offered us a gift-wrapped copy of one of the hotel's in-room books that we mentioned having liked. The DAN right across the street from the beach (none are directly on the beach) and has a wrap-around pool on the third floor with a beautiful view. Close walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife, or a quick taxi ride to anywhere else in the city. Our room was in the recently renovated wing of the hotel (highly suggest requesting this) and was sleek, modern beautifully outfitted with high-end finishes. Prices for room service were very reasonable (even for bottle service). As for areas of improvement, the wireless internet is a pain (they outsource support to a third-party and make you deal with them) and the late-night room service menu options are limited. Still, this place has a very special feeling, and I can't think of any other Tel Aviv luxury hotel with as much warmth and character.

Tel Aviv is beautiful and exciting. There is an enormous range of opportunities from
intellectual engagement, cultural pleasure, fantastic shopping, amazing eating,
and surfing!!! This was my first visit in 20 years and now I won't be able to stay away!
The Dan is an elegant and comfortable hotel that offers an ideal waterfront location and
incredible breakfasts.

Our stay at the Dan Tel-Aviv is one of the most beautiful experiences we have ever had. From the staff (Jessica and Haley to be specific) to the comfortable and well appointed room, to the amazing breakfasts, to the view of the beach from our window, to the housekeeping staff to the concierge who was so helpful, we found a "gem" in the Dan Tel Aviv. Our trip lasted 10 days and as we traveled all over Israel, we kept returning and actually spent 4 of our 10 days at the Dan Tel Aviv...and we will certainly return again.
