We spent a Number of nights in Tel Aviv Herods Hotel after receiving a recommendation from friends. The design of the renovated hotel amazing, the room was very good (a bit small ) but comfortable and clean. The view was blue and sunney over the beach and sunsets In the evening The coffee machine in the room is a good add on. We visited the free lounge in the 17 th floor, enjoyed Yossi and the crew hospitality and tasty food and drinks. The hole team from the front desk and the bellboy was great. The only cone was the noisy cleaning during sleep time at 3 pm after good time in the beach. We will come back. thank you Herods !

Room Tip: Upper level - club rooms Rooms on the south side have better view ( jaffa)

This was our fourth consecutive year staying at Herod’s, and the service provided by the staff continues to be incredible. I wish hotels in the States provided this level of service. Ownership changed 2 years ago, and obviously they have committed to providing the highest level of service possible. Our package included the Club Lounge on the 17th floor, overlooking the water, where we could get cappuccino, wine or beer, sodas, fresh fruit, cheeses, salads, etc from early in the morning until around 10:30 or so at night. The Lounge is fully staffed, so food remains fresh, with employees like Yosii and Merav looking to take care of your every need. When they found out it was my wife’s birthday, Merav had champagne and chocolates sent to our room. Later in the week, a bottle of Israeli cabernet appeared in our room gratis. Our room was clean and everything worked properly, with a great view looking north over the water. This hotel is located right on the beach. Unlike many of the Tel Aviv hotels, you don’t have to cross the road to get to the beach, just go downstairs, pick up towels at the pool, and you exit to the beach near La-la Land (a very good restaurant right on the beach). Breakfasts, included with our room, were amazing, with terrific freshly baked pastries, waffles, omelets made to order, salads, fruit, smoked fish, the list goes on and on. Nine days, and we never got tired of the food here.

An excellent vacation, service and the hotel couldn’t have been any better.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the Sea, better view. They have various booking packages, some may include the...

Before arriving we knew that the hotel is located on the shores of the Mediterranean coast, an important feature for us. Upon arrival we got a room in the north side where we were pleasantly surprised to find out that our view included also that of the Tel Aviv Marina. The decor of the lobby and other public areas is new and unique, as was the room, but the best feature of the hotel in our opinion was the cordioality of the staff, from the reception clerks to the chamber maid. they were very anxious to please. Our entire stay of nearly two weeks ended up being very pleasant. The only problem we encountered was the shortage of parking spaces on the hotel premises. We had to park in a lot across the street.

Room Tip: rooms on the north side have a better view.

We came from Ben Gurion 3:30 am during sabbath and was recieved by a serviceminded young man. We stayed two nights 28-30. september, and was very pleased to get a room on 18th floor. NICE view! There was some issue with the elevators, so it could take some time before it came to our floor.
The room was great. ++
Breakfast was great. ++
Staff was great. ++

Room Tip: Go for 18th floor!

Another business trip to Israel and this one was made awesome by the stay at the Herods Hotel. Everything was simply awesome. That includes cleanliness, cleaning service, breakfast, customer service and of course the location.

We were just coming back from our 1 week holiday. Although we enjoyed our time in Israel, this hotel was the worst experience.
Starting with a surprise at check in: although the room including breakfast was fully paid in advance, the receptionist took 700$ deposit from my credit card. Well... Fair enough for covering charges for room service food and spa treatments for the whole week...
Entering our room we were pleased to rest, but the bathroom needed definitely to be cleaned again. Door to balcony must be shut all night due to the noisy main street. According to our time of arrival in the middle of the night we chose to try the room service, but after 11 pm just 2 meals available. Cheese or salmon - cold dishes... But quality and quantity were exceeding our expectations.
Next day breakfast was okay, but not 5 star like. Staff at restaurant obviously partied all night and were not able to say either good morning or serve coffee....
Worst thing was housekeeping. Towels were removed after having been used but not replaced. There was no refill of toilet paper. That happened three times in a week. AND one night we came back to the hotel we found our room door wide open. And after checking if something was missing, we found out it was just the towels and toilet paper which was not in the room. After complaining at reception we were offered a coffee and spoke to the duty manager about this coinsedence. He promised this would never happen again. The door was closed for the rest of our stay, but we had to go on calling the reception for towels and toilet paper.
After all these complaints I have to say that the staff at the reception tryed really hard to help us out and was extremely friendly. So was Sarit in the consierge office. They really made a difference to other hotels.
Located directly at the beach this hotel is perfect accommodation for beach holidays. But poor service in rooms and at restaurant made us decide to choose another hotel the next time. And Tel Aviv is definitely worth to come back. We already booked flights for June 2013!
But we chose another hotel in which friends of us had better experiences.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing to stay at Herods Tel Aviv hotel and for bringing your comments to our attention.
Please accept our sincerest apologies on behalf of the hotel staff and myself for not succeeding in creating a fulfilling experience during your stay.
The standard deposit for extra fees is 100$ per day, if you do not wish to pay for extra charges or give a lesser amount that is also possible. The idea is not to bother you with more money taken for extra charges later during your stay.
The breakfast served at the hotel is one of the best breakfasts in the city if not the best. There is the widest selection of cheeses, pastries, salads, deserts, refreshments and anything imaginable served in a Kosher Breakfast.
I regretted to read your comments regarding the level of service you received from the parts of the hotel staff, what you described does not meet the level of service we aspire to offer our guests.
We hope that you will allow us to show you that we can do better. If you wish to make a reservation please contact me directly at meravye@fattal.co.il for a rewording experience.
Once again, I thank you and look forward to hosting you again at our hotel.

Best Regards,

Merav Yechezkel
