Our family stayed at the Sheraton Towers for two nights. We paid
US$500(!) per night for a lousy room, very basic and far from clean.
Only plus is sea view. The beds are not bad, soft but really small.
Towels smell bad,as well as bed linens.Bathroom is so small and old,the bath is terrible! no shower stand and the toilet seat is behind the door.Really bad.The corridor smell as well.
Service is lousy. Housekeeping comes into the room without knocking first, so make sure to hang the do not disturb sign. This is no more than three stars hotel at the most. Even the Israeli breakfast was not attractive compared to the one serve in Dan hotels for example. Dining room is very basic and the service is slow. The dirty plates stay on the table forever.
There is no private beach. There is a common public beach which you have to cross a very dangerous road to get to. We had an access to the lounge where they serve very basic snacks.
Children are not very welcomed or respected by the staff and management......
The general feeling is that it is a waste of good money! My mom came to visit us and wanted to join us in the open swimming pool,however-she was approached by a staff member asking us to pay for her entering the pool area. She was not wearing swimming suit and had no intention to swim, just sip a cold drink and watch her grandkids swim....the guy was rude but we managed to avoid this ridiculous payment. A friend of mine who stayed in the hotel left 300 euro in her purse in the hotel room. When she came back the money was gone...my advise is to stay away.it was a bad experience.

A nice hotel with a nice room. Although I had no view of the Sea of Galilee, I did like my room. The breakfast and dinners were good with offerings of fresh fruit and a lovely buffet. Beware of rooms that face a disco near the water. The beat of the drums and the loud music will keep playing until 4 AM.
