“Wonderful location almost on the beach”
Reviewed 13 June 2011

The hotel is on a noisy street, so try and nab a room away from the street. The hotel also hosts lots of parties (noisy) on the 8th floor, so there is a lot of traffic in and out of the hotel at all hours. The rooms are fine, spacious with a kitchenette and seating area. No pool. They are adding a spa on the ground floor, and the hotel is gearing towards the 'boutique' genre. The breakfasts are substantial served in a beautiful restaurant on the 7th floor, with an open patio with views of the sea. The hotel is close to the old port and there are great restaurants nearby. The reception staff is amiable, but not knowledgeble enough about basic things like bus routes, and at times the front desk is understaffed.

We are checking out today and have been pleases with the service from all of the staff members. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beautiful Grand Beach and about 5 minutes from the shops and restaurants at the port.

We thought the breakfasts were very good - they will even make you omellettes to order and cappuccinos at no extra charge. In the 3 mornings we ate there, the selections changed slightly.

The rooms were comfortable with very comfortable linens and beds. We all slept great!

Also the rooftop bar (also where breakfast is served) is a really nice place to sit and have a cocktail at the end of the day - the bartenders were all very nice, the drinks were good and the views are great.

Israeli breakfasts at most hotels are of exceptional quality and standard with exceptional variety. One always looks forward to a good breakfast .The breakfast at this hotel was shocking. With all the ingredients at their disposal , there was no creativity in the food at all.

Dont know where to begin.... Carpets so dirty that if you walk barefoot your feet will be black in minutes, washrooms rusty, service front desk okay, breakfast staff terrible... you would get coffee 15 minutes after your request and than it would take an additional 15 minutes to get the milk therefore coffee is now cold. Breakfast buffet is boring everyday the same, a little change would be great. Beds are comfortable. Windows are so dirty you cant see through them. Would not recommend this hotel, the only advantage they have is their location.

This hotel is ultra chic. I satyed there with my husband and was so impressed. The hotel is right on the beach. The rooms are very large and very clean. The hotel is ultra modern , even for the most difficult client like myself.
I would stay there again in a heart beat.

What I liked best was the delicious breakfast on the 7th floor that offers great views of both the Med and the city. Also, unlike a lot of other hotels, it is served from about 0645-1130, so you can eat very early or late: it doesn't matter. The service is very good, the location is great as well, right on the beach. The room was spacious, a bit much for the 1 night I stayed, but for longer stays I would have liked to stretch out and take advantage of the plasma tvs, the kitchenette, and the balcony & couches. Comfortable bed! The room is air-conditioned as well. They have a business center on the 1st floor that can get quite busy (only 3 computers) but they offer free wifi. The design is very modern, I really liked the red & white furniture. For $240 it was an OK bargain, but not a steal, either.
