Thoroughly enjoyed our one-night gettaway in Tel Aviv at the Alexander Suites. Stayed in one of the amazing new renovated suites (with a NEspresso coffee machine for the die-hard fans) - next to the elevators. Great kitchenette, sitting area and room - all in funky shades of Black and White. Amneties in the bathroom were all Occitane - so indeed faultless. Restaurant upsairs is on the roof and apparently is open-air in the summer (covered in winter). Staff was very helpful, we had an early evening snack. Morning breakfast was amazingly plentiful - go for the mini pies and the home pickled vegetables. Will definitely go back - left a special impression. Small comment is that the hotel is finishign an extensive renovation so be sure to ask (and pay) for a renovated room - small areas are still being finalized - though it already looks a winner.
