Maxim is a lovely place to stay. It’s a real case when a strong 3* is better than a weak 5* (I can compare both options in Tel Aviv). Great atmosphere, helpful staff, a lot of options included into the price (breakfast, parking, wi-fi, complimentary 5 o’clock tea&coffee) help you feel like at home. We had a great sleep which is very important for me (means perfect beds, absence of noise, silent air conditioning etc). We enjoyed the breakfast – even it was the same every day, there was enough to choose from. The location was also convenient – 2 minutes from the beach, walking distance (or 5 min by car) from Old Jaffa. I’ll definitely stay at Maxim again.

This Jan it was 5th time I chose this hotel and I did not make a mistake. The warmth of the staff and the nice breakfast makes you feel cosy and comfortable. The location of the hotel, is another hotel which makes you come back again and again. It is located right across the sea beach- surely an interesting hotel. Also it's proximity to the Caramel Market and other important market cum city offices is a great advantage of staying in this hotel.

Room Tip: Higher floors gives you great sight on the beach

I have stayed at the Hotel Maxim several times and it never disappoints. There has recently been a huge refurbishment there and it is great. Much more modern and cheerful, but still with the same emphasis of cleanliness, comfort and extremely helpful staff at reception, who can always help you with something. Location is excellent and enables really good long walks along the tayelet either to Jaffa or up to the far end past the marina and even further. It is central (on the front) and near shops and restaurants.
The rooms are spotless and the hotel reception area too. I shall be staying again when next I visit Tel Aviv which I hope, won't be too long!

I have been staying at Maxim for the past 15 or more years and every time it surprises me with more good things! The recent refurbishment is excellent, showers greatly improved and overall atmosphere friendly and knowledgeable.

I like to stay somewhere where I am remembered, even after a 12 month gap!

The location is excellent as it is accessible for everything and just across from the beach! It has a family atmosphere that makes it feel a 'home from home' but that does not detract from its efficiency and amenities.

I will always stay here when I am in tel Aviv!

Room Tip: Ask for a sea-view and higher the better!

We found the Hotel Maxim to be a wonderful hotel, not expensive but very comfortable. The rooms were well appointed, adequate in size and very clean. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was complimentary and quite luxurious. This hotel is a gem, and we intend to stay here on all our subsequent visits.

My wife and I have been several times and stayed at this hotel last year I stayed there with a school friend, we still experienced a very good service. The rooms are clean, the breakfast tasty and varied. It's nice to be invited in thez evening at 17h00 for a free coffee and cake. You can still order a bottle of wine, but I feel it would be more fun to have in the lobby, a small bar, but this is not necessary because the lobby gives even so a welcoming feeling. Personally, I can warmly recommend this design hotel at this price. It's also fun, you need only to pass the street and you're on the beach.

Maxim hotel is placed in a central point in TLV. It is a small boutique hotel, with small but functional rooms, narrow breakfast area but fairly good breakfast. Overall, the hotel has been "zipped" to include as many rooms as possible in its 5 floors and only the basic common areas. For instance there is no dining area or a restaurant. The rooms could also be cleaner. Strong points include: the location, the sea-view, coffee and cookies served in the afternoon.
