The museum is spread out over a lovely campus like property which includes an ancient mosaic floor found in situ. There are other mosaic floors displayed as well as wine and olive presses spread out among the lovely landscaped paths. Each type of collection is in its own building--coins, post office, folklore and more. The English captions are well written and each display is arranged well and easy to view. The gift shop is large and filled with beautiful and interesting items all made in Israel and the dairy restaurant on site is excellent with friendly service and reasonable prices.

This is a large complex with many different museums contained within one museum. Be prepared to walk outside as well as inside as you move from one building to another. To see it all in one day is impossible so plan accordingly.

The many exhibits are vry educational and very interesting. The Glass and the numismatics are very recommended. Sometimes you have artisans (e.g. glass) working there. There is a planetarium for kids. In short - a very nice place to spend quite a few hours.

The museum has an interesting layout with dedicated buildings for the artifacts of this diverse collection. If you are looking to learn about the history and culture of Israel, this is an excellent place to begin. From coins and stamps to ceramics, glass and beyond, the artifacts will hold the attention of visitors of all ages. Unfortunately, my visit was later in the afternoon, so I wasn’t able to see everything before the museum closed. When I am back in Tel Aviv, I hope to return so that I can visit the exhibits beyond the buildings, including the archeological excavation, planetarium and garden.

Some of the best exhibits in the world of pottery, ceramics, glass, coins, tools, textiles and more. The tell is authentic/raw. We enjoyed a sumptous lunch in the cafe and browsed the vibrant musuem shop.
