“River and Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 December 2013 via mobile

The Yarkon River though not much of a river the walk along its bank runs through the Yarkon Park and is very nice. A piece of greenery scrolling through the city with sports facilities, bicycle runs, small birds Zoo, small kids Animal Garden, kids Play Areas, a large open concert area, rental Raw and paddle Boats, and more. Some food facilities are available and Israel's largest theme park is close by. The park is safe and friendly, and is used by local families representing a cross section of Israeli society throughout the week and very busy by weekends for picnics and BBQs.

“Move your feet!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2013

A nice place for a good stroll (or bicycle ride) right in the heart of Gush Dan megapolis. Plenty of opportunities for outdoor photography, too. A friendly tip: if you visit the park on weekend or holiday, start your tour from the National Stadium, Ramat Gan. Instant benefits: free parking lot at the entrance, relatively quiet, far less people than at the Yehoshua Gardens or Tel Aviv Port entrances.

“GOOD FOR JOGGING”

A beautiful park. Plenty of green with the Hayarkon river flowing through. Nearly incredible to find so much green.
You can stroll, jogging, bicycling and also canoeing. Great for relaxing
