The fun begins on FRIDAYS at the" triangle crossing" of streets- Allenby ,Carmel market ,Betzalel market (off King George st.)and pedestrian street Nachlat Binyamin but not forgetting Pinsker st (hippy ,shique ,in shopping).
Walking Nachlat Binyamin; an Israeli artists haven -the street dotted with stalls & every type of unusual and specialized items of art ,from beautiful jewellery ,paintings, to handmade leather bags and wallets ,including soaps of different colours which we could not resist to take home with us .The triangle is always occupied by israeli singers ,or/and colourful people protesting something .
NOT TO MISS.

Look at the old building surrounding the area
There are good restaurants but it is not the best place for shopping

I loved this market for its colors and the beautiful art it shows. I like to visit this kind of market just to have an idea of what is going on locally regarding craft/decorations
It is a very nice walk, with some restaurants where I sat just to enjoy the atmosphere because it was a beautiful day.
It happens 2 days a week, Tuesday and Fridays, I went Tuesdays and was nice and not crowded, but I heard that Friday it is more alive.

you should visit there on Fridays when they have an artists' fair and street shows. It is beautiful.
