Stayed here for 3 nights during our wedding and were pretty disappointed. Considering the price you pay, I would expect better customer service and attention to detail.
I'll (try to) summarize:
* The reception people weren't always available, we wanted to order room service and nobody answered the phone so I had to get dressed and walk downstairs to look for someone. There was also no menu in the room to choose from or prices so it wasn't clear what was available.
* We upgraded to a room with a balcony (added cost) but they neglected to tell us about the loud noise coming from the street so we could hardly sleep the first night and had to move rooms. The rooms are all very beautifully designed but extremely small, we could hardly open a suitcase.
* The TV in the second room did not work and we had to wait for over an hour for a technician to come and fix it. These things happen but should have been checked prior to moving us to the room.
* The complimentary toiletries were all past due according to the printed date by about 6 months, makes you double think if you should use that body wash.
* The lounge downstairs served breakfast each morning which was good but considering it's owned by a renowned chef we expected more. You could get a similar spread at any local coffee shop in Tel Aviv. The service was lacking at best, the staff was always gossiping and chatting on the side which kind of ruined the romantic dining experience as this is also a very small and intimate space. We had to ask multiple times for coffee and drink refills.
* We had just gotten married in NYC the previous week and stayed at a 5 star hotel, that hotel upgraded our room and sent us complimentary refreshments and treats along with a nice card from management congratulating us. I didn't expect the same treatment from Alma but it would have been nice if they did something small to recognize our big day.
* Last but not least - someone from the hotel called me a few days after our stay and literately threatened me that if we don't pay our bill asap they will charge our card without our approval. This came as a complete surprise since we paid everything in full upon check-out and had a receipt to prove it! I had to ask the man to calm down and not speak to me in that tone (mind you this was 2 days after our wedding, way to ruin a good vibe). That was the final straw - we will not be back nor will we ever recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
I would recommend you go elsewhere, there are so many good boutique hotels in the area at the same cost or even less and for this price you should expect better service.

Room Tip: If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a rear-facing room

If you want to feel what a great customer experience means you cannot miss this boutique hotel. Its rooms is a perfect blend of different styles mixed with and excellent taste. If you also look for a great location this is the perfect spot in Tel Aviv.

Perfect taste, warm welcome, lovely hideaway and ravishing cuisine.
Sometime a little noisy but this is the price to pay to be close to where things "happen" at night in Tel Aviv. Breakfast is a true gastronomic expereince. Do not miss the chocolate croissant with crème patissière.
Highly recommended for a lover's WE.

First of all is the location perfect. Close to neve tzedek, florentine, bus station (for Jerusalem), the beach and just at the start of Rothschild avenue. We had a larger room with balcony and it was great. If you're ok with sounds from the city at night you can stay on the first floor as we did, but otherwise ask for a room on 2nd or 3rd floor. Breakfast is amazing! The staff is very friendly. We have nothing to complain about. This was exactly the small boutique hotel we was looking for in Tel Aviv.

I've decided to treat my wife for a night at this new hotel
Tel Aviven by nature we even got a good price for one night on March 2014, so we didn't have to go far away from home.
room was well designed. high standard finishing. colored. well equipped. not too big. closet near bed was too little to reach. we don't see any TV at home so we tried to get informed at our arrival. we had a problem with the TV remote control, which was solved after a few visits of the concierge.
slightly noisy from our front door every time someone came in or went out from our neighbor's doors.
Haaretz news paper was waiting for us near our door in the morning
breakfast is served as buffet with good coffee
