“creative dish excellent food”
Reviewed 19 November 2013

We went to celebrate our anniversary. The interior design is amazing and very unusual.
The stuff was very warm and the chef was very nice and friendly when he explained about each dish served to the table.
The food was very good and had a trendy look.
Go there!!!

“Best Restaurant in Tel Aviv”
Reviewed 15 November 2013

I had one of the best meals ever there. The chef realy knows how to bring the most out of the ingredients without resorting to the typical mediterenean mishmash so trendy amongs many of the local restaurants. I particularily liked the Mullet in crust served with wheat stew and the open crepe. A true gourmet cuisine in the midst of one of the most lovely boulevards in Tel Aviv Center,

Very highly recommended.

“Outstanding introduction to Israeli cuisine”
Reviewed 14 November 2013

This was my first trip to Tel Aviv and I was unfamiliar with Israeli cuisine. Thanks to The Rothschild Hotel Restaurant, that has changed. During my stay, I had a number of dishes. My breakfast favorite was the bread pudding with crème fraiche and caramelized apples. While not a typical Israeli breakfast dish, it went great with their excellent coffee. Among the lunch/dinner standouts was the fish tartare - tuna on that particular day, a creative take on teriyaki scallops, and my favorite - the buckwheat crepe with wild mushrooms and spinach. Chef Tzvi Avisar combines experience, creativity, and what must be the freshest ingredients around (I was up very early one morning and happened to see the day's fish being delivered!). Plus, he always makes time to chat with customers to make sure they're happy - a stand-up dude. Highly recommend you start off with bartender Gilad Mitrani's Ruby Mojito then let him pair your meal with some great Israeli wines(another discovery for me). My only regret is that there's nothing like the Rothschild Restaurant in Los Angeles!
