“Best 2 star hotel I have stayed in”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

Due to a problem with the apartment I booked (which was nothing like the photos or had the facilities it stated), I checked myself into the Ness Hotel. Clean, comfortable and the staff were brilliant. I would definitely go back there

My stay at Ness Ziona Tel Aviv was great. The hotel has a perfect location, only 2 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are small but newly refurbished and the furnitur could easily be found in a 4 star hotel as well. The staff was very lovely and helpful, no matter what question I had. They also assisted me with booking some trips and made me feel at home right away. The hotel has a very familiar atmosphere and I can only recommend to stay there. Most of the older and worse ratings refer to a time, where the hotel was under different management, and it now deserves a way better rating!

location is perfect, the owners were very nice.. we were promised a room but since it wasnt available when we arrived they gave us another room, smaller but cheaper price. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and it was noise since we chose to be placed on the 2nd floor so we really hear the construction right beside the hotel. the rooms are newly renovated so its very clean and nice but the bathroom is small..

all in all it was okay coz it was the cheapest we can find near the beach and center.

Room Tip: try to get room 7

The hotel is open during renovations they do right outside your balcony with debris falling
in through the bathroom window. The owner is a real thief and the overall service is shameful! Do yourselves a favor and do NOT go to this hotel!!!

Room Tip: Do not go here at all!!

we decided to move to this hotewl from a previous disaster and even though previous feedback wasn't great we were pleasantly surprised by the renovations and general functionality of this hotel. The bathroom in room 21 was small as was the bed but there was a nice veranda. The hotel has recently undergone renovations and since every hotel in Tel Aviv is over-priced, this was OK value for the money. You need to book the size of bed you need, don't assume they are all big.

Room Tip: Parking lot at the end of the street, use the big lot.

This hostel is still under construction, and they start making a lot of noise around 8am! They moved us 3 times, because the room we ordered was not ready,
the receptionist always, promised us stuff (like free breakfast for the inconvenience of having to move 3 times because they rented our room to someone else, or had to work in the room) that we never had!
There is dirty (when I say dirty, I mean it, with cigarettes burns) Jaccuzi in every room, and the door of the toilet are transparent! I'm not sure what is the purpose of this hostel, but for sure this is not a family-friendly place to go

Either pay less to get a single room at a hostel, or pay a bit more to get a room at a hotel. You will feel cheated otherwise.

I paid for a single room and was given a room just big enough to hold a double bed and a TV. The bathroom was a shared one located down the hall.

The building next door is under construction so at 8am I was awaken by hammering and drilling that was literally behind the wall where my head was.

Also, the internet didnt work on the floor I was on. The receptionist tried pretending there was no problem but I pressed the issue and she conceeded that they had tried to fix it several times but to no avail.

Positives: Location, it is nicely decorated, the bedding was clean, and the AC was cold.

That doesn't make up for the negatives though. I wouldn't stay here again.
