“Good Value Hotel”

We stayed there one night, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. Our room had a window to the corridor but it wasn't a big issue. The hotel is close to the highway leading to the airport which makes it an excellent choice if you are travelling through Queen Alia Airport.

We just got back from our ten day stay in Jordan. The base we were in Aqaba from which we made trips across the country. We spent one night in this beautiful hotel in Amman thanks Moufid, owner of the agency ABOVE AND BELOW from Aqaba, which has organized for us a two-day trip that included the Dead Sea, Bethany,Jordan River, Mount Nebo, Madaba, overnight in Amman, going to a local restaurant Hashim at dinner in Amman, sightseeing Amman that includes the amphitheater and the Citadel and Jerish. The hotel is located in the north of Amman,is about 12 km from the city center. In Jordan taxi is very cheap and for taxi from the hotel to the city center you need about 5 JD. Hotel has a 3 star but it is so nice and comfortable that deserves to have at least one more. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with air-conditioning, furniture are new and modern, beds are comfortable. The interior of the recepcion and the restaurant is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is excellent. Although we spent only one night in this hotel we are delighted by the room and we warmly recommend this hotel to all those who plan to stay in Amman.Once again I take this opportunity to thank the agency ABOVE AND BELOW that we recommended and booked this hotel for us.

Larsa Hotel is relatively new thus it looks prim and proper; the rooms are also bright and comfortable. The biggest advantage of staying here is you can get a free drop to City Mall which is close by. The Royal Automobile Museum is also close by. The buffet, both breakfast and dinner lacks variety and specially the desert menu is very sparse during dinner. We stayed for a night the staff is not there to go out of the way to please you but overall service is fairly good. Planning a trip to Amman read my blog joyfultravelpie.com for tips.

First of all this is a 3 star hotel, that would pass easily as a four star in Amman.
Rooms were clean, size was good.
Breakfast was fair nothing special. Its location is not quite near things, but Amman isn't big and taxis are cheap. You can reach most of Amman (west) in 15 minutes max. Cafes and restaurants in 5 min.
Over all a 3.8/5

we were a group of 10 people with a baby; the staff was very friendly and they helped us alot.
the breakfast is not that special, I've had better, but it's ok.
the rooms are big and cozy with 2 or 3 beds, a tv, a closet, a desk and a table. they got us a water boiler with coffee and tea as soon as we got our room.
we did not have any problem here.

We stayed here for 6 nights (couldnt wait enough to leave) too bad our reservations was non-refundable. Our AC in our first room wasnt working and we got the run around took about 6-8 complaint before they decided they are going to give us another room, after they switch our room the next morning we go a call from the front desk stating that we are being transfer to another room because the room that we are currently is booked. The front desk sucks/not efficient and doesnt really know what is going on. For example the day we are going to petra they made our driver and us wait for each other (mind you the driver was on the lobby waiting and so did us) 20min wait for no reason because the front desk did not do there job and failed to connect us with our driver. Talk about getting taxi, we waited multiple times for the hotel taxi was told 5 min but then 20-25 min then nothing and being ignored by the doorman when we ask question, we are forced to hail our own taxi. This hotel is in the outskirt of town, in my opinion not worth the hassel. The only thing that is posivite about this hotel is the huge room but AC not working. Avoid this hotel.

Room Tip: Avoid room 316 AC is not working, just blowing hot air. Room 413 is very good and large, as well as...
