“Major renovation, just improve the beds”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

Remember this is a pure airport hotel and the vast majority will be here if you have flight connections. I had stayed in this hotel last time 8 years ago, at that it resembled a prison and now, what a difference! They have done a great job in renovating the lobby and the rooms.
Checkin was good and efficient. They have two check in desks one "VIP" and one regular. I was checked in by Yasmin in the VIP area. Very polite and efficient.

The rooms are what they are. They are small with small bathrooms with very basic amenities. There was no hot water and and the water was only luke warm. The provide a bath robe which was a nice touch. My major griefs are that for a good night's sleep you need good pillows which they don't seem to have changed from the last hotel. If pillows are important to you bring your own small pillow. The other issue is that even though my rooms was a non-smoking room there is smoke everywhere in hallways, other rooms, housekeeping was smoking in the housekeeping closet and it wafts in your room. Jordan everyone smokes. Impressed by the amount of light at night in the room with multiple lamps.

Breakfast is a ballroom with ballroom table and chairs and it will resemble a mess hall not a restaurant. The buffet was adequately good for this level of a hotel. Lot of options. The baked goods were all in their cellophane wraps.

Excellent option for transit especially if getting to the airport is an issue. I was able to leave the hotel 30 minutes before my departure and arrived straight to the boarding gate.

I didn't have much hope that this hotel would be nice, but I was truly surprised at how great ended up being. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with a clean, well-stocked bathroom that was very modern. We did beer and pizza at the sports bar and it was ok. The pool and gym are fantastic. My only complaint is that I couldn't figure out how to make the AC blow cold air, only hot. It wasn't a hot evening, though, so it wasn't a big deal. Overall very nice and convenient to the airport. Pleasantly surprised.

Stay at this hotel on many occasions, on business trips, staff very welcoming from the porters to the receptionist, the restaurant staff (Carla I think she is called) will go out of her way to make your stay in the restaurant relaxing, should you have any additional requirements, which are not readily available, be it your breakfast cereal, or evening meal. The hotel is located close to the airport and is ideal as they offer a shuttle bus to and from the airport.

Pleasant stay

What a reception! We were met INSIDE the airport and taken through all the formalities (visa, passport control) before being passed over to the Hotel driver and on to the hotel. So quick.
Check in to the hotel was quick and efficiently done over an apple juice. Rooms quite adequate with all we needed. Breakfast next morning in the huge dining room was fun with explanations from the staff on the Jordanian specialties (must try!). At the end of our trip we returned to this hotel for a 6hr visit prior to flying and found them again helpful, with computer check in, quick shuttle service.
An excellent hotel to use

Had a quick 1 night stopover here, which was pleasant enough, taken to VIP check in, which was a good start, but that was the highlight. The room was basic, nice, but basic, air con not working properly to cool (in Middle East would have thought this was a basic necessity). Went to the sports bar for dinner, which was nice, cold beer, and good bar food, the spicy chicken strips are definately spicy ;-)
Breakfast in the morning was average, included but average, and the service from the coffee shop (15 mins for a coffee and sandwich) and reception (no we cant sort out a taxi for you, go down there and he can) is not the sort of response I would expect from a supposedly 4* hotel.
Might stay again, but only due to convenience and not for the experience.

I had a layover returning from Cairo, heading to london. Staying for one night. Staff provided top notch service. When i arrived i was escorted to a desk for check in. Brought a class of ice tea. They treated each guess as an VIP. Rooms were very nice, had a great night rest. hotel offer complimentary wifi. 10hrs, but dont forget to log out after each service. I forgot, but they gave me another 10 hours of wifi. I had a great stay, however, i don't feel the dining was 5 star status. I would definitely stay here again.
