“seldom on these days”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

email the organiser to tell you when it's on. sadly due to syria putting off tourists (the place is very safe I assure you) it's not on as much as it should be.

“Well choreographed”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

Fabulous show that I would recommend you see, it's only a few pounds and a shame to miss it. Take a hat and water as the arena has no shade.

“Back on (for now)”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

Was back in Jerash yesterday and was surprised to find that the live experience is back running.
It seems that it's really hit and miss as to whether it's on or not.

We were told that there would only be the one show at 11am not the normal 2 shows that run but there's no indication as to what days or times the experience happens.

It's a great show and worth the 12JoD if you're there anyway but I'd hesitate to go specifically for the experience as it might not be running when you get there!!

“Roman soldier and Chariot show back on for now!”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

On the 21.2.14 a Friday we were in Jerash to see the ruins, however much to our delight we were told that the first show of this holiday season was about to start. My wife and I paid 12 JD each and the show was fantastic. A talk on how the legion was formed and served in Jerash. A tactical demonstration of Roman tactics, some Gladiator battles and finally a Chariot race.
One word of caution our guide said that he could not ascertain on what days the shows would go ahead. Ours was at 11 am local time on a Friday and lasted for nearly an hour, but check as tourist numbers or lack of them came up in the conversation. Afterwards there are photo opportunities with the 'cast and crew' of the show. Then go and view the historical site itself. The whole day was great experience and worthy of recommendation. Steve P. “Thanks -- currently NO race.”
Reviewed 1 January 2014

Thanks to Tripadvisor, we didn't rush to Jerash to see the RACE. We did arrive at 1:30 and that would have been enough time to park, enter, and get to a 2pm RACE yet it didn't happen. Note that we were there on Monday, Dec 30 (the day that the last reviewer was told that would be the next show.) There were signs yet no show.

Jerash ruins are fabulous!!! We spent 2+ hours enjoying the grounds.

Highly recommend Jerash yet there is no show.

This is about 1 hour from Amman Airport. While an easy drive, the signs aren't great.
