Hilton:makkah : "horribly good experince"
date-2010
we booked this hotel on some relatives words and were not sure about the service out there. WE were quite inquisitive and excited to live in this 5 star hotel. we booked on the basic that it is the closest hotel located near the haram. We stayed here for a almost a good long week which was made colourful by staying inthis elegant hotel.
we booked two rooms and let me say as we entered the room we were so delighted to book this hotel.the rooms were simply amazing with huge princess like beds, amazingly spacious and with your own kitchen. And the bathroom was immensely beautifull with its 24HR hot water service and its gigantic shower pouring large quantity of water gives you a great massage like feeling while having your bath. the toileteries are worth taking home its ,ordered from the best brand Crabtree and everlyn.
folks this is a place you cant miss , with its friendly and comfortable staying it has lots and lots to offer. a resonable price for the high life it offers.do go for this one it is sincerly amazing .

It was an excellent experience . This hotel is so close to the HARAM . You walk down to the exit gate and you are almost in the HARAM precincts.

The quality of rooms and cleanliness was all great. Rooms were BIG with a Kitchenette and 1-1/2 bathrooms. Lot of space for children to run around inside the room with 2 Sofas and a nice dining table for 4. With 35 sq. mts. you cannot ask for more.

Additional tea/ coffee maker made it convenient as well. All the food shops were so very next to the exit. Only the hotel restaurant was a bit tricky to find in between the shopping arcades. A little help was needed to reach for breakfast. But the staff were so accommodating as several times we crossed the time limit but they were decent enough to give us ample time. AND A REAL KINGS BREAKFAST SPREAD.

We stayed at Hilton Towers 5 days prior to the start of ramadan , then moved to dallah barakah on the eve of ramadan due to the extortianate prices charged in ramadan ! if you have the finances then i would highly recommend staying here especially when you spend a few days at dallah barakah (would definately not recommend)!!!!
Stayed in Tower number 2 , ideal distance to the haram , the room we stayed at was of a very good size , very clean and a very good sized bathroom, the best shower i had ever and an excellent bathroom, iron but no ironing board, even a kitchen sink...but no pots or pans to use the cooker with and no plates to eat from ..so perhaps it was all for show. We didn't have a room service menu in our room although it wasn't necessary since there are so many food outlets just outside the the tower entrance and very reasonably priced that you don't need to spend on room service.
It did appear that parents would leave there children to run about in the hallway which was annoying since they kept using these noisy toy guns but I suppose that this a problem where ever you go....my only other gripe would be the pillows (way to soft for my liking and no alternatives as they are standard)
Overall 1 should remember where one is at and any hardships you come across are incomparable to the real sacrife that had taken at the most beautiful place on earth.
