Located between a petrol station after Zubara Road and Cinema Hamra'. Now I am sure you know exactly where it is! Try the punjabi samosa with achar not the white sauce they provide and not with ketchup. Very tasty. Don't have the vegetable cutlets. They are bland. If you want meat, go to the adjoining fraternal restaurant Charminar. Get a curry and some poori (bread). If you go to Charminar, note that there is not much meat in the curries. Charminar specializes in punjabi dishes. Finish your meal with sweet lassi and mango icecream. Indian tea is also good (I'm told) if you like tea with milk (I don't).

This hotel is situated near Al Hamra Cinema. Easily reachable and serves wide variety of food.
Vada Sambar is good. Also have a snacks bar and a sweet corner. Offers family dining at upstairs, but ambiance is not that appealing

Mysore Restaurant is a very old restaurant in Manama serving both North Indian and South Indian vegetarian food, but their speciality is the latter. They also serve Chinese vegetarian food, but its not well made. The thali is very good value for money with sambhar, rasam, 2 kinds of vegetables, sweet, curd, pickle, pappad, rice and chappati/poori. Its served hot and is well presented. They have buffets on Fridays. They do not have a home delivery service as yet although they have been planning it for long. There is a sweet and farsan counter which has very good boondi laddus. Puranpolis are excellent, which if eaten in the restaurant is warmed and served with ghee...absolutely soft and delicious. If you are looking for a quick homely simple meal, the Mysore thali is good. Snacks like dosas, idlis and vadas are also well made and served hot.
