This building houses a mosque, hall and museum. You can take photos outside the museum section only.
The range, extent and collection of Qur'an are incredible. Texts from the 6th century until this century are on display. The collection gives a really good overview of how the Qur'an has evolved over time in terms of materials, script and decoration.
Not to be missed are the extremely small Qur'an (3 cm x 2 cm) and important Arabic words inscribed on grains of rice and even sesame seeds!
There are also interesting translations of the Qur'an in Chinese, Russian and French (among other languages) on display.
