I visited Haji's today for breakfast. This cafe was set up.in 1950 and it has expanded to now cover maybe 39 metres of the alley. Parking is easily available in the Bahrain Wheelchair Car park. The bread is baked just before it is given to you and is beautiful. The egg and tomato is excellent. The atmosphere and service is excellent. The only weakness that I found was with the humus which is not fresh and is poor.

Haji's Café is a deep dive into all that's good and wonderful about a visit to Bahrain. An open air classic Arabic café in the old souk (indoor AC seating too), next to Babel Bahrain, serves up excellent local cuisine. The egg & tomato breakfast with a cup of chai kalat, a side of London soup (dal lentils) and freshly baked bread can't be beat. They open at 5:00 AM. For dinner, the lamb chops are awesome, but get there early or they'll be sold out. Have a chat with Suhair, whose family owns the place. He's a great guy!

Manama is the shopping capital of Bahrain. Beautiful place to go. Everything is there: high class shops, restaurants- gourmet, western food, asian food, european food and arabic food..Government offices are also placed there. If you want gold go to Gold City or Gold souq.If you want to have coffee in the evening go to Kopiatto Tower where you could see all Bahrain with lights all over.

Have you ever wondered how Bahraini breakfast taste like or what food selection do the locals take early morning then Haji Gahwa is the place to be. The restaurant is located in Bab Al Bahrain in a small alley, it has indoor and outdoor sitting and also family sections.
The breakfast experience is one of a kind with varieties of cold and hot dishes and do not forget milk tea. The restaurant is very old and it has been serving food for over 50 years, it is considered a land mark in the island and it is known for the food consistency.
