Loved this place, the original 1960's design and furniture, outdoor garden and sad empty swimming pool. Great room and bathroom. Huge public rooms that show the hotel is from another era. I paid 1.2 million rials a nite, that is € 28 per nite. I also stayed at Golestan which is very nice, but this is worth the few euros extra.

I wish i could give this hotel more than just five stars. It is from a different era - an era of superior taste and service, and they should get extra stars for having maintained the strict standards of a more exacting, bygone time. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings, and the bathrooms were the largest we experienced in Iran, with heaps of hot water. The staff were super helpful, stepping in numerous times and fixing problems we were encountering, none of which were to do with the hotel itself. For instance, when my fiancee was expecting a phone interview for a job from abroad, and the call was not coming through, and we were starting to panic, the man at the desk called a number we had for the interviewer from his own calling card, and managed to get through, and left my fiancee to it, and at the end of it he refused all payment even though she'd been on for more than twenty minutes. This was just one incident, but there were more, and in each of them the staff showed themselves as thoroughly kind and thoughtful individuals.

Other impressions include the cafe downstairs which is very atmospheric and tended by a very genteel bunch of waiters. The ice cream coffee is wonderful, and really gets you going again after a morning on the hot noisy streets. At 27 USD for a double room, it was very reasonable. It is a very small sum to pay for all the peace and serenity you get in return.

Please don't change, Hotel Naderi!

Room Tip: We said nothing about room preferences, but were given wonderful rooms anyway. I suppose they fill up the nicer rooms first, but it might be no harm to ask for ones at the back

This hotel is one of the very few places in a quite location, in Theran. Nice rooms, some of them have a very nice view to north Theran and the mountains. Nice breakfast and very central location !
Only bad think is the empty swimming pool and the garden arround the pool look very run down.

The hotel is pricy compared to Iranian standards, but it's in a good location (nice area, near the tube and within walking distance of many attraction) and has relatively clean rooms (my only problem was the exceptionally old bathroom). Beds are comfortable and there is a TV, fridge and large wardrobe.

I did feel like I was transported back to the 70's (the hotel can't have changed at all) and the look of the staff adds to the feel. The service could be better and they could be more smiley but oh well. Breakfast was included and typical Iranian style.

Although I've only given it an average review, I would stay here again as it's definitely worth forking out a bit of extra money to stay in a good area in Tehran (and hotels there will always be expensive considering what you get for it!).

The New Naderi is in a good location, close to the Armenian quarter and this made it a good base for accessing museums, parks and local restaurants. It is a fairly basic hotel that is a bit of a rabbit warren, but it has a relaxed style and was pretty clean. WiFi access was variable as was the breakfast (the usual Iranian fare of carrot jam, bread, mystery cheese and tea). For the price, it's a good choice in central Tehran, particularly if you have been in Tehran before.
